The kitchen diner, also with wall-mounted TV and sofa area, is perfect for long suppers and fun times.

There is a porch to leave wellies, sandy shoes and coats, and a warm utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, drinks fridge, espresso machine, slow cooker and plenty of space to hang and dry clothes.

The kitchen is very well equipped including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and toaster and kettle. There is washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, salt & pepper, and basic herbs provided for your stay.

The first downstairs bedroom is a superking bed with ensuite. There is an armchair looking out over the front garden and across the fields – providing a lovely quiet space to read and relax. An extra single trundle bed is available upon request.

The second downstairs bedroom is a twin room with ensuite shower room and is accessed through the superking bedroom. There is a door to the front lawn to provide separate access.

All the bedrooms have chest of drawers and wardrobes, as well as good bedside lighting, a chair and a towel rail so that you can unpack and really feel you are at home. All rooms have thick blackout lined curtains and new comfortable beds with duvets and extra blankets are provided should you need them. There is a hairdryer too.

The main bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC, basin and dual-fuel radiator. The downstairs showeroom has an electric shower, basin and WC.

All bed linen, bath towels and tea towels are provided. There are games, puzzles, DVDs and lots of books to help you enjoy your stay further.

There is a good cot and highchair available, a stair gate at the top of the stairs and plenty of plastic plates and cutlery for children. The property has been used by many families over the years and has a safe enclosed back garden.

There is an initial supply of logs and kindling for the log-burner and there is plenty of hot water and heating. The windows are double glazed and so the house is cosy and warm.

Location

Moelfre, Wales, United Kingdom

The cottage is on a country lane a short stroll from Lligwy beach where the Beach Cafe is open all year round at weekends and during half terms and holidays. During the summer months, there is a Teepee with a bar and good quality beach food and BBQ.

The walk into Moelfre along the coast path, past the Royal Charter ship wreck is stunning, and can be rewarded by a drink or a bite to eat in the village. The Moelfre Lifeboat Station and Seawatch Centre are worth a visit.

There is a good local shop in Moelfre and Benllech has a Co-op and Tesco Express as well as many other shops, pubs and restaurants.

Din Lligwy Settlement and Burial Chamber are both up the country lane from the house, and are an excellent example of the ancient history of the area.

Beaumaris Castle and the town itself are always worth a visit as it is full of history and also good pubs and restaurants.

Anglesey is an amazing island for exploring and further afield there is the Snowdonian National Park and the Llyn Peninsula.
