Large private room and bath in a 2500 sq ft home on 2+ peaceful acres in beautiful Auburn Lake Trails, (a gated community) in Cool, CA. Enjoy beautiful sunset views and stargazing from the large deck. 15 - 20 min. from Coloma rafting & Gold Discovery Park, Georgetown, Auburn State Rec Area, Western States Trail, & Auburn. Closest lodging to the new Black Oak wedding venue.
Outdoor BBQ area, WiFi /roku enabled TV, kitchen access. Bookings closed until April 30, 2020 and subject to change.

The space
Perched on a hill with nice local views of rolling foothills, trees and wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Improved for 2020 (moved the space to the ground level). The bedroom is very large, 15' x 25' with front-facing view windows on 2-sides, on it's own, private level of the house. Equipped with a deluxe comfortable queen size bed, and a twin pull-out sofa bed. The bathroom (ADA) is just up the stairs and remains private during your stay. There is a Weber BBQ area you are welcome to use (please bring charcoal) and a large front deck to take in the view and relax. Kitchen (common area) is available for light cooking / easy meals and the rest of the common areas are shared. Accommodations for more than 2 are possible (w flexible bedding). The property is sloped and there are stairs, so this may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues. Please message with your needs or special requests (including blocked Monday's, single or extended night requests).

IMPORTANT: For a smooth check-in experience please note and review the following information:

Auburn Lake Trails is a gated community in Cool, CA. My residence is 4.2 miles or ~ 15 min. drive from where you'll enter.

DO NOT GPS MY ADDRESS (it will take you to a non-passable gate). You must enter through the main gate (1), only @ 1400 American River Trail (8/10 of a mile from hwy 49 and 193).

DO SET YOUR GPS for:
1400 American River Trail (main gate).
Proceed to the visitor lane and advise the guard you are visiting me. Your name will be on my guest list for your date(s) and you will be allowed entry.

***Security Personnel at the guard "shack" will not know anything re: my Airbnb rental. They’ll have your name on my guest list for access purposes only. Please call me directly if you have any problems or questions regarding entry.

NOW, RESET YOUR GPS to my home address which is another slow 4.2 mile ride~ 12-14 minute drive (or follow the map as you may lose cell service). ***PLEASE DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT - the HOA uses camera radar / enforcement throughout the Community, and they do, unfortunately issue fines which no-one wants!! Arrival during daylight hours is strongly recommended when possible.

The driveway is a steep left uphill turn. I suggest passing the driveway, making a u-turn and then drive straight up. Designated parking and a turnaround are all the way at the top.
I will be here to greet you / check-in.

You’ll have access to the entire house and grounds (- the master suite). You may exit Auburn Lake Trails from any of the 3 gates, but must re-enter at the main gate (1 ) each time. I look forward to hosting you!

Larry

Other things to note
My driveway is steep. Large RV’s and trailers may find it difficult. (There is no street parking).

Not accepting pets.

Your child over the age of 2 is considered a 3rd guest and I charge as per stated, ($20 per guest, per night).

420 (Cannabis) friendly environment.

There is NO open outdoor burning from July forward!

Strict speed enforcement is in place throughout Auburn Lake Trails.
Please adhere to the posted speed limits (25 on most streets) while in the Community. Thank you!

***You should be comfortable in a home with a large friendly Labrador, as Zeke is an indoor dog and remains in the house, even when I am not.
