You'll love staying in this very private bed and breakfast with its picturesque and serene view of some of the prettiest landscape in all of Texas. "Tiny" is perched on top of a hill overlooking a secluded valley in the foothills of the Texas Hill Country and is a great choice for a romantic getaway or a quiet escape from the city. Enjoy the on property, scenic hiking trails; go swimming or kayaking in the Medina River nearby; or just kick back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful getaway you deserve.

The space
Our space in Pipe Creek, Texas is a custom built 325 sq. ft. tiny house with a pleasant, modern rustic vibe. It is a great spot for a quiet and romantic getaway for two, but it will sleep up to 4 adults with a queen bed in the semi private bedroom and a full size futon sleeper in the living room area. The futon is no ordinary futon! It was designed for overnight comfort with an 8 inch thick innerspring mattress that will comfortably accommodate 2 adults.

This house may be considered tiny, but the amenities are anything but. There is a standard size tub and shower in the bathroom and a full kitchen equipped with a gas top stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and plenty of countertop space.

Our Tiny is a non traditional B&B where you will enjoy your coffee and breakfast in private without trying to make a specific serving time or mingling with other people when you are still wiping the sleep from your eyes. We will provide you with all of the basic ingredients necessary for you to make your own breakfast in the comfort of your own space and when you are ready. We usually have bacon or sausage, farm fresh eggs from our coop, hash browns, juice, and yogurt stocked for you in the fridge. Multiple night guests may be offered additional options such as sausage gravy and biscuits, English muffin breakfast sandwiches, or fresh fruit and granola.

Enjoy a scenic and challenging adventure on our private hiking trails (more info on hiking trails below). Or just relax and take in the beautiful valley view from the bench seating or Adirondack chairs on the large, 250 sq. ft. front deck with the electric retractable awning that keeps the deck shaded for you while you enjoy your morning coffee. And at night, enjoy the small fire pit with a limestone rock bench for you to cozy up, toast up some smores, or pick the guitar under the stars.

Most guests choose our Tiny for its quiet, in-the-country vibe and prefer to "unplug". However, there is a flat screen TV in the living area and another one in the bedroom for you to watch DVDs or connect to your phone (adapters provided) to watch Netflix or other online streaming options. There is a small library of DVDs in the cabin and a Redbox located nearby in Pipe Creek.

HIKING TRAILS: (Trail map in the photo section)
There are 2 main trails that begin at and loop back around to the Tiny; The "Tiny Trail" and the "Not-So-Tiny Trail". The Tiny Trail (.14 miles) is a beginner to intermediate level hike that takes you along the ridge of the valley and loops back on a shady path through the trees. This is a short and fairly easy trail with just a few tough spots that most of our guests should be able to manage.

The Not-So-Tiny Trail (.37 miles) is an intermediate to advanced level hike that begins with a steep descent into the valley, "The Drop Off" and traverses along the hillside and valley floor eventually leading to a steep climb back up to the ridge. This trail has some beautiful scenic overlooks and several interesting natural landmarks such as "Bob, The Boulder", "The Over-Under Tree", and "The Cave". The trail is marked with yellow or green rope tied to trees and branches to help guide you and there are 3 knotted ropes located at some of the steeper areas to assist you. The terrain on this trail is very primitive and rugged and should only be attempted by guests that are up for a challenge. Please be mindful of your physical limitations and of the hazards of our natural surroundings. Hiking shoes, water, and a bug spray with tick repellent are highly recommended.
