Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Our studio space has cathedral ceilings with skylights, an ensuite bathroom, a kitchenette and an outdoor private patio facing our 1/2 acre wooded back yard. Our home is located in the Charlestown beach community of Cross Mills.
Guests have access to Ninigret Pond, which is the largest salt water pond in R.I. This location is 2 miles from Charlestown Town beach and the Breachway state beach. Both are bikeable, and guests have the option for Kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, and sunbathing.

The space
This is a large studio style space that is beautiful, and private with it's own patio looking out on a one-half acre treed back yard. It includes a queen size tempurpedic bed, a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Coffee, Tea and Cream are provided. There are a number of restaurants and shops less than a mile from here. Burlingame State Park has hiking, picknicking and swimming within minutes of our home.

Location

Charlestown, Rhode Island, United States

We have Daves Coffee (a R.I. landmark) a local baker, and wonderful ice cream shops. There are a number of casual restaurants where you can pick up a sandwich or a drink, or fresh oysters from our salt water pond. Seafood is fresh and plentiful in this area.

I am a retired music teacher and I love the outdoors. My wife and I kayak, hike, bike, trail run and explore the many historic places and museums in and around New England. We especially enjoy camping in our restored 1977 Airstream Argosy. We have travelled across the US a number of times, camping and meeting wonderful people everywhere! We have stayed in AIRBNBs in San Francisco, NYC ,Vermont and Maine. It seemed like the natural thing to do was offer guests a taste of our beautiful state, Rhode Island. We live near the Ocean and the opportunities for outdoor recreation are endless. Come join us!
