The townhome is well located a short walk from Miami Beach and nearby amenities. However, it is directly adjacent to a 24 hour gas station and has a fire hall (Miami Beach Fire and Rescue), with fire trucks sounding their sirens at all hours of the day, directly across the street/canal. At times this can be very loud and disruptive, especially if you're trying to sleep. We arrived at the accommodation and immediately noted how dirty it was. Almost nothing, aside from the basic layout and framework of the structure of the residence itself, was as is represented in the photos that are posted in the listing. All of the plants at the entry were dead and rotting, the floors were so dirty that none of our group could walk around without socks on at the very least (all of which became jet black after walking around the main floor), there were black scuffs on the stairways and pre-existing holes/indentations on walls, stains on the couch from what looked to be previously spilt beverages, debris/crumbs on the island and kitchen surfaces and the hot tub was not only cold but also half full and lacking proper maintenance. The member of David's staff who toured our group through mentioned that "all of the paintings and furniture were moved by the previous group" which implied to us that the house was being used for partying. Given that the we stayed at the tail end of spring break, this is not suprising. Our neighbors had a revolving door of people in and out of their residence at all hours of the day. They were so loud on the third floor deck above the room that I was in that I had to get out of bed to ask them to keep it down at 5AM. They even had the gall to falsely complain about our group after I had asked them to keep their noise down. To sum it up: central location, a good place to stay with a group if you don't mind the above noted site conditions and property issues, but not up to the expectations that we had based on our review of the representations made in this listing and certainly did not feel like it was worth the per night cost being demanded.
My friends and I rented this home as a backdrop for a Bachelorette Celebration. Everyone loved the house and raved about how beautiful it was. The location was great, only a few blocks from the beach access walk. Walgreens in about 5 minutes walking distance and a convenience store right across the street. Lots of stairs, but we loved the workout. When we were tired, we used the elevator. We didn't have a chance to use the rooftop spa, but it looked clean and was warm from the sun. Great house for a group of friends!
I'll echo all of the positive reviews below. Hands down, the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. We stayed at David's for my friend's bachelorette and had a blast. The place is beautifully furnished and very spacious. Since we only had a party of 6, we each got our own bed which was a very nice plus. Everything is within walking distance or a short uber ride away, so the location was perfect! I am definitely looking forward to renting this place out again in the future!
Our townhouse experience was amazing! I had two problems with my room (the 4th floor, which is the best room) and within an hour of us checking in both problems were fixed! Customer service is EXCELLENT! The location is PERFECT! If you are looking for a modern, clean, and perfectly located space for your get away... this is the place for you!
This rental was out of this world. We rented for 10 people to celebrate a birthday weekend and it couldn't have been a more beautiful environment to do so - very luxe but also well-serviced and comfortable, with close proximity to the beach. The rooftop is a great place to hang out and take in the views of Miami.
