Welcome to The Coach House, a detached annex positioned within the grounds of the Old Rectory, Stanningfield. With views across to the old house and to St. Nicholas' Church, the accommodation offers picturesque scenery, top quality facilities and hourly public transport links to Bury St. Edmunds (4m) and Lavenham (5m). Staying here offers you the chance to unwind in luxury.

The space
The Coach House was built in 1872 and is positioned in close proximity to The Old Rectory where the owners live with their 2 children.

The property underwent complete refurbishment in June 2019 and is now stylishly furnished with new and vintage pieces.

The bed experience is luxurious- the beds are pocket sprung with feather upper mattresses, all linens are white and made of the finest Egyptian cotton.

The kitchen is a large entertaining space with a large central island and seating around. Facilities include a range cooker, a fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. Tasteful tableware, glassware and cookware. Also downstairs is a separate lounge with corner sofa, arm chair and tv.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the 1st floor. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with en-suite bathroom (bath within bedroom). The second bedroom has twin John Lewis single beds with further sofa bed. There is a shower room adjacent.

At the Old Rectory there is an outdoor, heated swimming pool which will be available to guests upon request for exclusive hire. Please note the pool will only be available between mid-May and September, weather dependent, maximum 2 hours per day for guests staying 2 days or more. This can be organised at time of booking.

Guest access
There is also a tennis court available at the Old Rectory which can be used subject to availability.

Other things to note
During summer and early autumn, as the fruit ripens in the orchard, plums, apples and cherries will be available to enjoy straight from the tree. There is a large pond next to the Coach House which has no fencing around.
