Great location
90% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Emma’s Hut is a light and airy self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate area with catering facilities.

We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.

The space
We love dogs and have three of our own, so yours will be very welcome. We do live on the main road but the garden is secure.

Garden furniture and outside fire available for guests to use.

We can provide transport from the ferry in Yarmouth but if you want to walk, it is only 15 minutes and a bus from the ferry stops just opposite the property.

Plenty of car parking is available.

We have an independent local grocers, delicatessen and bakery in Yarmouth which stocks a fantastic range of local produce - bread, fish, meat, veg and dairy products, award winning Mermaid gin and all the basics you could need. The nearest supermarket and petrol is 3 miles away in Freshwater.

We moved to the Isle of Wight nine years ago to enjoy the lovely walks, the proximity of the sea, great restaurants and slower pace of life. We have three dogs who also enjoy the life here. We have two grown up daughters and a grandson and love it when they all come over. Their friends quite often turn up as well! We both love sailing and belong to the sailing clubs in Yarmouth. Tom is also part of the Yarmouth RNLI team. Since moving over here, I have created a bookbinding and letterpress business and love to show visitors around The Lazy Dog Press studio. It has been a great way to integrate into the community and I now teach these skills in the local libraries, schools and at the Quay Arts centre in Newport’. We are happy to call the Island our home and delighted to have visitors to stay and get to know the West Wight.
