We loved our stay at Laurene's place. We found the house so easily using the map provided through airbnb, the house is exactly as shown in the photos and was spotlessly clean. We loved the comfortable couches, cosy wood burning stove and beautiful views from the deck. Laurene was an amazing host and provided everything we needed including a full suite of items for our 1 year old (high chair, travel cot, deck gate, baby bath) as well as a BBQ for us. The area is absolutely amazing too, beautiful beaches so close by, lovely places to explore and great pubs to eat in.

We had a lovely time in Laurenes cottage. The house was clean and everything what we need was there. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. It is quiet and private. The Hook peninsula is a beautiful area with cliffs, beaches, little Harbours. After a short walk there are beautiful beaches. Thank you Laurene for you all.

We were greeted by Mike, who did a wonderful job taking us through the house and answering our questions. Laurene was extremely helpful and responsive our entire stay. We felt she went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and found our way about easily. The property was even better than the pictures and this little corner of Ireland practically begs to be discovered at a slow pace. My family and I would absolutely recommend the Beach Cottage and really hope to return for a summer visit.

Originally from New Zealand now married to Mike who farms in Fethard on Sea. Love living by the water, fishing in our timber boat and tending our veggie patch. While I love Fethard, I love to travel - I'm more of an explorer than a package holiday traveller. I love to entertain, cooking adventurous foods along with plenty of BBQ's, and love to meet new people.
