I had worked a full day and then drove 3 hours, so I was very tired and hungry when I arrived. Denise met us at the door. She was very friendly and took us on a tour of the Inn. She went over the breakfast room, and then showed us to our room. Our room had a separate entrance on the side of the building. She showed us our room, then made suggestions where we could eat for dinner. The room looked like it had been recently remodeled. We had a very nice stay, and continued our travels the next morning. I would stay here again.

My brother and I were riding the GAP for our first time. We rode into Meyersdale and decided to stay for the night. When I contacted Denise she responded in a matter of minutes with our room info and booking info. Denise was so hospitable. We were able to store our bikes and gear in a safe place. The room we had was perfect, and the contintental breakfast had just the right foods to give us energy for the next day on the trail. I highly recommend staying at the Yoder if you're in Meyersdale. My brother and I look forward to staying again next year!

We had the pleasure of meeting Denise as we drove up, tired from our trip a d saw a new friendly face! We loved her warmth and genuine hospitality. Our room was pristine clean, immaculate, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities of home. It might seen strange but after a long, wear day of travel, to find a warm homelike place with sweet folks is pretty amazing! Yoder,s Guesthouse is in a quaint PA town, very much like a turn of the century feel to it, complete with an active railroad down the street! We sat on the front porch in a glider and saw the red lights flashing when a train moved through the intersection! We also took a stroll around the town and thoroughly enjoyed the local pharmacy with its sweet knick knacks and lively helpers. The whole experience was a treasure.

We are from a suburb of Philadelphia but have always enjoyed the Meyersdale area. My father's (Rabbit) family had a hunting cabin in the area that I always loved visiting as a boy and young adult. I remember good times in a quiet setting without all of the crazy, busy city life.
As a married couple with a business we looked forward to long quiet weekends to recharge without being disturbed by the business phone. It became a place to enjoy conversation and listen to music more than watching tv or other advanced technology. This was the genesis of Rabbit's Run.
Two years ago the house next to the cabin became available and we decided to purchase it. We added on to the home so it could be large enough to host family and Friends. The past two years have been very fulfilling.
We also realized that the area was lacking affordable, quiet and clean lodging. We have always enjoyed entertaining in our home so the decision to open our home to the family style lodging was an easy one.
Our hosting philosophy is to make our guests feel at home while respecting their privacy. Our home is large enough to have several communal areas yet offer areas to escape.
We also own Yoder's Motel in the town of Meyersdale. It is just a few blocks away from the Great Allegheny Passage, restaurants and bars.
