Welcome to my home! I'm a working professional and singer who loves meeting new people. I am excited about opening my home to you! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
I will NOT adjust trips after they have been accepted within 72 hours of the reservation. No exceptions except serious illness.
I have a beautiful one-bedroom apartment in the Crown Heights area that is very close to the 3 & 4 train. The 4 train gets to the Atlantic Avenue-Barclay's Center Terminal in about 10-12 minutes - from there you can get ALMOST any where in Manhattan(East or West, Uptown or Downtown)very easily.
There are two options for sleeping. I have a twin size air mattress or a sofa. Depending on what you prefer, I will make either or both available to you. I have a nice entertainment set-up in my living room with video games, a SmartTV, a desktop computer with printing. All can be used by my guests. High-speed WiFi is available all around the apartment is very good. Feel free to use the Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video on my SmartTV.
I occasionally invite friends over for a 2-3 hours at my place and will always communicate days in advance when I may have someone over.
If you need groceries or food we can arrange for them to be delivered or you can walk to one of the neighborhood stores to pick something up. There is more variety one express train stop away on Franklin Avenue
Video Games(Xbox 360)
Flat Screen SmartTV
Interaction with guests
I will be available via hone most of the time during the listing. My kitchen is open to you. Please try to treat my things as if they were yours. Guests are free to leave and enter as they please. I will give the guests one key to the place. I don't have an extra key for all guests if there are 2.
Other things to note
I always recommend that you get an unlimited Metrocard if you plan to be in New York for more than 2-3 days. It's really worth the money and gives you a lot of freedom to travel. It also saves you a lot of money :-)
I have many more tips to save money and enjoy New York.
Please be considerate of neighbors so noise kept to a moderate level after 10:00 PM and before 8:00 AM.
No smoking in the apartment.
Pets are allowed if they are small.
Generally please be respectful and communicate with me about any needs and concerns and everything will be great!

Born in NYC but raised around the world as the son of a diplomat. I have lived in the US, Ghana, Egypt, the UK, and South Africa. I work for an awesome software company as my day job. My true passion is music and I've been trained as a classical singer for over 10 years. I work hard and play hard. Trying to enjoy my life as much as possible. I moved back to NYC 2 years ago so I'm still exploring this great city myself since there's so much to offer and there are new things always popping up. To book my place please have at least a government-issued ID verification and have a review, your own Airbnb listing with reviews or be connected to me via a friend or family member. Thank you very much!
I am flexible regarding refunds if changes have to be made on a reservation but please keep in mind that for more long-term stays there is some planning that goes into preparing for you. I may have given up other reservations to accommodate you so we would work on those on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to send me an inquiry. I'm excited to meet you(presuming you're cool)!
