Great location
91% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Hayıtözü with its breathtaking sea view is nestled in the tiny village of Kertmeç 700 metres above sea level in the Taurus Mountains on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.
A perfect place to come if you need time to immerse yourself in nature and deeply rest.
Discover a simpler way of life and take time to be a human being rather than a human doing.
We have 3 beautiful new houses for you to choose from made from wood and glass, rustic but modern and chic.

The space
We are 20 minutes from İnlice beach and half an hour from the small town of Göcek famous it’s sailing.
Hayıtözü is a small holding run on holistic, permaculture and traditional methods and owned by Tayip and Deborah. There are peacocks, guinea fowl, chickens and assorted cats and dogs.
Tayip has planted the land with thousands of olive, almonds, walnuts, figs and many other trees, flowers and plants. Deborah is using the produce to make conserves, jams and fresh delicious food.
We would like to hold the space for you, make you feel completely at home so you can do whatever you need for this time in your life.
We invite you to join us for as long or short a time as you would like.
We have 3 homes for you to choose from. It is a great place if you want to come in a larger group and hire all three houses. This will give you the privacy of separate spaces if you want them and also plenty of time to enjoy the whole land together.

Where you’ll be

Gökçeovacık, Muğla, Turkey

Hayıtözü has been in Tayip’s family for generations. It was passed down to us in 2002 from Tayip’s grandmother. The land had not been used for many years and all that was there was a fig orchard. The rest was totally wild. Slowly over the years we have been gently taming, shaping, planting and building. We have been carful to keep that wild touch to keep it as natural as possible but comfortable and homely with all mod cons at the same time.

Tayip’s passions are plants, gardening and working on the land. Deborah is a trained chef who loves to cook the produce produced on the land.
