Millburn Cottage is a traditional & quirky 3 bedroom property situated in an elevated setting. In a west facing position with sunsets and views over Loch Fyne. Semi-rural but close to the local village of Tighnabruaich with a secluded garden, wildlife and walks.
It was the original Mill in Melldalloch, outside the ancient village of Kilfinan. It is in the parish records of 1642 as Dougal Blacks House & Mill. Today the cottage has been upgraded by its artistic owners and has a quirky character. The dormer rooms in the cosy upper bedrooms retain original wood panelling & provide spectacular views to Loch Fyne & beyond.
The open-plan lounge has a wood burning stove with a modern vibe. There is a bespoke free standing galley kitchen off the lounge and a modern bathroom with walk in shower. There is a large conservatory to enjoy the scenic views. The garden is large and has a wonderful variety of flowers, shrubs and wildlife. The burn which originally powered the Mill has been redirected and is now a beautiful feature of the garden. The entire garden is fenced in and is ideal for pets.
The cottage and the private, secluded and enclosed garden. Tighnabruaich & the adjoining Kames is located 4 miles away and Kilfinan Hotel is 2 miles from the cottage. Otter Ferry- Pub on the Beach is a 7 mile drive. The cottage is approximately 2 hours drive from Glasgow
