Lovely, comfortable, spacious family home tucked away in secluded, leafy Constantia offering easy indoor/outdoor living. It is a well-appointed home with 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. The living areas lead onto the covered terrace, pool area and large private garden that make for great summer entertaining. It is ideally suited to families or couples visiting Cape Town looking for a comfortable retreat to explore the Cape.

The space
There is an open plan kitchen (with gas stove and electric oven) with a family/TV room opening onto sunny covered patio next to saltwater pool in a lush, private garden, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Separate combined lounge and dining room which also open onto the patio/garden.

The main bedroom has a king size extra length bed with an en suite bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and 1 bedroom with a double bed, which share a bathroom. There is a separate outside studio with twin beds and en suite bathroom. The bed arrangement for any of the bedrooms, except the main bedroom, can be swopped around as required.

The property has its own borehole with a water filtration system, so is off the grid in terms of water supply. There is a large driveway and a covered carport for three cars. The house has an alarm, outside beams and electric perimeter fencing. Unlimited WIFI throughout the house. Full DSTV package for TV viewing and Netflix available.

Other things to note
A daily housekeeping service is available from Monday to Friday at an additional charge of R300 per day.

Constantia is a leafy, green area with many oak lined avenues and large properties. It is a family-friendly upmarket suburb with easy access to the highways to other areas in Cape Town.

Take a walk through the nearby vineyards, or enjoy a glass of local wine at one of the nearby wine estates or watch the sunset from the historic Groot Constantia. Excellent outdoor trails along the Constantia greenbelt (walk, run or cycle) start adjacent to the house. There are an array of bar and restaurant options, catering for all tastes and ages. Savour award-winning cuisine at the nearby La Colombe, recently rated 76th at the World's Best Restaurant Awards 2016 in New York. Or enjoy al-fresco country cooking, family friendly restaurants, picnics, all located within the oldest wine-growing area in Southern Africa.
