The space
Rustic delight. I share my home, grounds and beach areas with my guests. I live on the lower level with My dogs (a three year old Lab and fourteen year old boxer) with a fenced in deck. Guests have use of the upper level of a 1970’s home with high vaulted ceilings and slate floors throughout. Some cosmetic work needed but it boasts a large spacious suite with an open concept. New furniture. New bathroom. Spacious bedrooms. Large deck overlooking the lake.
Orchard area with fruit trees, leading to a pathway going down to the private beach. I share the grounds and beach access with guests.
Guest access
Private, keyed lock entrance. Onsite, tandem style parking for two cars.
Shared grounds and beach access with owner but guest privacy is respected.
Other things to note
Dogs are allowed based upon approval and with proof of vaccination. There is an additional fee of $25 per dog per night paid separately through the Airbnb resolution centre. The link will be sent to you upon approval.
The oven is not available to use but there is a cook-top, toaster, toaster oven, microwave and barbeque. There is also a full size fridge, a Keurig Coffee maker, tea kettle and French press .

Neighbourhood highlights
Small community on the lake with kayaks and paddle boards being the main way to get around
Paddle boarding or kayaking around the lake, especially in the morning or early evening when the water is calm is recommended. you can get a real feel of the Okanagan on the water.
Please bring your own watersport equipment or rent it where you live and bring with you. It is possible to rent equipment locally but it gets busy so may be challenging to find available.
There is a compressor here, onsite to use to inflate and deflate your equipment
Swimming and floating on the lake. if you have floatation devices I encourage to bring them with you.

There are award winning wineries within a few minutes.
You can see one from here and drive there in two minutes.
There is a winery on the lake so you can paddle from your private beach to the winery and go for a tasting.
I recommend spending one day touring the local wineries in OK Falls where we specialize in Burgundy and Alsatian style wines and we have our own Geographical Indication. Award winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Bubbly, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, etc.
I recommend to make reservations for wine tastings or reserve a wine tour with one of the local companies. There are quite a few wineries that allow drop in for tastings but there are also some that require reservations
A lot of the wineries allow dogs.
There are quite a few restaurants available at many wineries that are open for the season. Making reservations are recommended
Fairview Mountain and Inkameep golf courses are within 10 to15 minute drive.
St Andrews on the Lake, a smaller executive size course is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours and is a 15 minute drive.
The lake is a migratory path for many bird species. There is a bird sanctuary on the Lake. Excellent birding.
