We had a lovely stay in Soula's house! She was a wonderful host - so accommodating and helpful with getting there and everything we needed. Her mother in the house above was incredibly sweet and more than hospitable! A must stay for a cozy and quiet traditional Greece experience. Thanks again Soula for the one-of-a-kind experience :)

This holidays were one of our best relaxing holiday that we ever had!!!!! Soula and her mum are the best hosts. Every day we get small thing (some ownbaked bread or sweets or grapes) and at one evening we get an invitation for a traditional greek dinner. The flat is really better then you see on the pictures here. It´s a full completed kitchen, 2 air conditions (1 in livingroom, 1 in bedroom) The really nice backyard have a nice view and it´s completely private. Thank´s for really relaxing holidays! We hope that we can come back for a nice time!!

We stayed at this lovely house for two nights and really enjoyed the tranquility. Soula was incredibly friendly, giving us lots of great tips for our stay on Crete. She was very helpful with detailed directions and welcomed us with a huge smile and deliciously refreshing watermelon. A visit to the nearby Palianis Nunnery is recommended.

You are guaranteed a warm friendly welcome from Souls and her mother; Cretan hospitality at its best. The house is immaculately clean and everything is provided. GPS will get you to the village but the house is a little difficult to find. My advice would be to phone Souls once you are close. A trip to the nearby monastery is recommended.

Highly recommended! The place is spacious and beautiful. As described, it's a renovated traditional stone house, but it's even more beautiful in person thanks to obvious care and detail. There is a washing machine, great AC in the living room and bedroom, reliable wifi, and the kitchen is fully stocked. In short, all amenities are as advertised or better. The outside is scenic, marked by front and back porches, and there is easy parking just across the home. A car is recommended if you plan to explore Crete, and the house is located in a small village not far from Heraklion, making it a great base for your stay--especially for those looking for an authentic experience off the beaten path. Soula was very helpful and communicative, and she and her mother went above and beyond--both are remarkably hospitable and always looking to enhance the experience, as if possible! Her mother made us breakfast and snacks and was always offering food. We'd definitely stay again!

Soula could not have been a better hostess. Our flight was delayed and we did not get to Kerasia till about 2am. Soula welcomed us most warmly and told us to stop apologising. The house is very beautiful and comfortable. It remains cool even in the very hot weather. Soula's mother made us feel like old family friends. We could not have had a better introduction to Crete.

Geia sas!! My name is Soula! I was born and I live at the beautiful island of Crete! I feel lucky to live at this blessed place! The occupation with tourism is my passion! Except from a hostess, I also love travelling, so I do know what travellers most of the times want in order …
