Comfortable homestay tucked in a small grove of pine trees and flowers. The room's window overlooks a creek and Mt. Japfu. The air is fresh and invigorating & multi-coloured wildflowers dance in the wind. The vast expanse of the mountain view in will fill you with unknown depths, the cool breeze of air filled with pleasant notes and the sky filled with all the warmth will make your stay memorable.

The space
The homestay is suitable for both families and adventure seekers! Located in a tranquil & peaceful environment just 20 min walk away from Hornbill Festival Heritage Site. The room consists of 2 single cosy beds. We have running hot water in the bathroom which needs to be shared with other guests. Do let us know what your food preferences are in advance, to be able to host you comfortably. Lunch and dinner are available on a chargeable basis.

Dawn homestay is in Kigwema village, 30 mins away from Kohima town. The Kisama Heritage Site, Hornbill Festival Venue is 1 km away from our place. The Dzukou valley trekking base camp is 1.5 hours away. This valley is largely untouched and unspoilt and has yet to be discovered or visited even by many seasoned global travellers.
