Villa Malou, our beautiful 4 bedroom villa rental in Seminyak is perfectly located. Nestled in the stylish district of Oberoi Seminyak, Villa Malou is just a few minutes walking distance to the chic boutiques and restaurants of Oberoi.

The space

With its close proximity to the beach as well as the restaurants and boutiques of Seminyak this villa offers the perfect vacation in Bali.

The villa effortlessly combines indoor and outdoor living. If the seaside breezes are not enough to keep you cool, there is air conditioning in all of the bedrooms. The interior of the villa is very comfortable with the open living, kitchen and dining area in the heart of the home.
The villa is large and very comfortable with all of the facilities and comfort one would expect from a luxury villa. The villa has a private swimming pool and open plan living and dining area.

Bedroom Description
•The villa has 3 x Queen sized en-suite bedrooms and 1 en-suite room with King sized beds. Linens are refreshed every 3 days or upon request. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and access to the pool and garden. The bedroom has large wardrobes and hanging space for clothes.

•Each beautiful bathroom features shower facilities and towels and amenities are refreshed daily.

1. All bookings are assumed to be for normal holiday purposes only, and the Guest agrees that the use of the Property will be limited to this purpose unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
If the Guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party, which involves having a larger number of people at the Property, or if the Guest is planning to use the Property for a purpose other than holiday, please communicate this to Villa Manager special approval or arrangements may be required. Depending on the nature of the event, a surcharge and/or additional security deposit may be required, which will be agreed and confirmed in writing prior to confirming the reservation. Note that some Properties are in residential areas or estates, and some are subject to rules and regulations regarding their use. Therefore, it may not always be possible to grant permission for certain uses or activities due to these or other reasons beyond the control of Villa Manager and the Owner.
If Villa Manager and Villa Owner has confirmed a booking which includes an event at the Guest’s chosen Property, in certain circumstances the Guest must then obtain permits from the police and the local community before the event can proceed. The Guest acknowledges and agrees that Villa Manager and the Owner cannot control the issue of these permits. If the police and/or the local community refuse to issue a permit for an event at the Property, the Owner will refund any security deposit or event fee paid by the Guest to the Owner.

2.Damage or Losses
A Property is typically someone’s home. Please treat the Property rented accordingly, and leave the Property and all its contents in good order and in an acceptably clean condition.
Any damage or losses caused during the Rental Period, as well as any special cleaning requirements will be the Guest’s responsibility and may be charged to the Guest’s account and deducted from the Guest’s security deposit. In cases of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage at any time during the Rental Period, the Owner or the Villa Manager may require the Guest and their party, including visitors to vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.

3. Access
The Property and its facilities are available for the Guest’s full enjoyment during the Rental Period. However the Owner, and Villa Manager, or other staff and contractors may need access to the Property from time to time (e.g. for maintenance purposes to the house, garden, swimming pool, utilities and services, or for the purposes of providing additional services requested by the Guest, etc.). The Guest is required to give them reasonable access to the Property for these purposes.

4.Number of Guests
The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the Property must not exceed the maximum number of 8 guest indicated in the booking confirmation, unless specifically authorized in writing. Exceeding this number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement. No pets are allowed unless agreed in writing in advance.

5. Conduct and Due Care
Properties are generally located in quiet residential neighborhoods. The Guest is asked to respect this, and ensure that all guests and visitors to the Property behave appropriately. Illegal or immoral activities including gambling, prostitution, prohibited drugs, possession or use of pyrotechnics or dangerous goods, and possession or use of firearms and other weapons are all strictly prohibited.
The Guest is responsible for the behavior of the guests staying at the Property, as well as visitors to the Property during the Rental Period. Should any guest(s) or visitor(s) not behave in a suitable manner, the Owner or Villa Manager, in their absolute discretion, require the Guest, their party and/or visitor(s) to leave the premises and/or vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.
In the interests of safety, due care should be taken at the Property at all times, especially with children. Suitable supervision should be given around pools, beaches and roads, and when using all Property’s facilities.

6. Valuables and Security
Any Guest valuables or property left or used at the Property are at the Guest’s own risk. Neither Management Villa nor the Owner accepts any responsibility for loss of or damage to Guest property. The Guest is responsible for the Property during the Rental Period, and must ensure that all windows and doors are locked securely when not on the premises. Any act or omission by the Guest, their party and/or visitors which may negate or prejudice the Property’s insurance policy and/or results in loss or damage is the Guest’s responsibility.

We had a great 4 nights stay in Villa Malou. Great communication from the beginning on Airbnb. We were picked up at the airport as planned. Everything was ready and clean when we arrived. The location is perfect in the middle of seminyak. We could easily walk to the beach (5 mns), restaurants, supermarket, atm, money changer and yet very quiet around the villa. The villa fitted the 8 of us perfectly. (4 adults and 4 children) The staff was really friendly and helpful and always responsive when we needed something. Would have liked ceiling fans in the living area. There's only on small floor fan and one extra was provided upon request. Again very helpful staff.

We had an enjoyable stay here, location is very convenient. Slept 6 of us very comfortably and it would have been fine also if there was 8 of us. Some small maintenance would go along way for the property but overall an enjoyable time, host was very responsive when we encountered a problem and was helpful in organising the transfer to the next location

The villa was peaceful and stunning, just like the photos, but beware of snakes and stealing. The cleaners were lovely and did a great job. They were also happy to pop down and get us a few supplies from the supermarket, which we tipped them for. However, my iPhone 5 was stolen from inside the villa while charging when we were out. The management 'Maviba Villa Rentals' have a number of villas in which they take care of. They offered us free transfers to the airport because of it but but this gesture was a minimal cost to replacement of my phone, in which they refused to cover. The management was quick to respond to a black cobra in the kitchen and they assured us the place would be fogged and fumigated on our leave for safety seeing as they could not get it. He then went on to say in an email to me they did not see it and implied I was making it up (even though the snake man said he saw it slither back into the drain under the sink, we have photos and all 5 guests saw it). Lucky for us we did not have our children staying, however, this is Indonesia. They do have snakes, and in open plan living with the outdoors I guess snakes are something to be aware of. Overall, it would have been great place with good restaurants close by and shopping, but unfortunately I cannot recommend it due to the theft that took place, which made us feel unsafe and then undervalued as a guest when Maviba Villa Rentals doubted our integrity.

Moreover I thank you for your constructive feedback with regard to our villa safety and security matter which is our primary concern as we run the villa rentals business for over than 6 years.We are really sorry about the unfortunate situation, we did our best to solve this issues at soonest possible during your stay, such as contact our pest control service which came quickly to catch the snake and did the special treatment to avoid other snake entering the villa. For your information finally yes they get it ! Please again kindly accept our apologies which not our intention to distrust your report or undervalued your integrity, we already apologize privately in the email that was really a misunderstanding and again really apologize. Concerning to your I-phone we could not compensate as per you request,as standard terms and conditions of guest value the Management is not responsible for any damage or loss to the guest personal items. Since there as some procedure that we have to follow such as to make the police report, I was waiting for you in the villa for processing the police report, but you said will out for lunch and we expecting you to come back soon so we can go to the authority to make the report as per standard procedure, therefore the police could investigate about the I- phone, unfortunately you came back to the Villa at 4 pm where you must depart to the airport. We installed new lock of the door and also CCTV camera for keep safe the villa and the surrounding. Security guard extra service is available in case customers would like to have this (URL HIDDEN) doing this we hope the guests will be safe at Villa Malou.
