Find peace and serenity during your stay on the S Fork Coppei Creek. Disengage from life's stresses while surrounded by wheat fields, creek, a cacophony of birds, crickets, frogs, and beautiful nature in this special canyon. Perhaps you'll be lucky to witness grazing turkeys or deer. Spend time in Jim's Park or stroll through the pasture along the timber lined hillside. Check out the hiking trail which rises above this historic homestead and see how experiencing nature is time well spent.

The space
The "Harvest Room" is named after the location where we used to feed many wheat harvest crews from the early 1960s until we ended housing the crews in 1998. During this time the harvest crews ate their breakfast and suppers here. Each Friday night was hamburger night with beer battered Walla Walla sweet onion rings. Saturday nights were steak night and the crews loved the home cooked meals. Thousands of lunches were also prepared on the counters and boxed up for the crews to eat out in the fields at noon. The Harvest Room also hosted many a birthday, card party, and themed social gathering.

The Harvest Room is located in the lower level of the main house in its own apartment on a rural farm setting. Take time to catch up on what's most important in life - peace, calm, and serenity. The nearest neighbors are a mile away with the paved county road located just above the house. What's most special about this spot is the creek running adjacent to the house, the forested land, and the deep canyon experience. Nights are spectacular with sky filled stars and sounds of nature.

I grew up on the family farm, and moved back in 2018 after working, living, and traveling on all 7 continents. I'm a proud global citizen. I love the outdoors, swimming, bicycling, and hiking/recreating in the great outdoors. Taking care and being a good steward of land, our world and its people are important to me. Learning languages, experiencing international cuisine, understanding how other cultures interact makes me realize just how similar we all are in this world. As host of my parent's beautiful property, where they farmed for more than 62 years, I value history, preservation of old farm artifacts, antiques, and sharing our beautiful setting with others. Your privacy will be respected and you will be most welcome. An appreciation of music, art, and animals makes me sing. Cats have a special paw print on my heart and you will find Toffee, Cocoa, and Calico hanging out around the farm.
