Beautiful glamping bunkie with loft on 3 acre property, Hwy 6 Hepworth. Bunkie has a double bed in the loft. On main level, find a dresser, desk, chair &pullout couch. The bunkie has electricity and a small heater (fall/spring) and fans (summer). Outhouse with compost toilet is available. Outdoor and indoor shower onsite. Property connects to NorthernDunes Golf Club. 1min from TimHortons, 7from SaubleBeach, 10from Wiarton &20 from Owen Sound. ALL backgrounds welcome. 420 friendly.

The space
This bunkie offers "glamping" at its finest. It is separate from the main house and entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

Outside, there is a compost toilet in an outhouse. There is also an outdoor shower and sink, and an indoor shower and utility sink.

There is also an outdoor kitchenette beneath a gazebo (with a roof, but not fully enclosed), equipped with a kettle, a coffee maker, a water dispenser that dispenses cold water, a very small fridge containing milk and cream, and complimentary coffee and tea. There are a few tuck shop items available for sale, including firewood. There is no food storage available in the outdoor kitchen so bring a cooler if you plan to store food.

Both the washroom facilities and kitchenette are shared with other guests, but cleaned and sanitized often.

Your bunkie has a picnic table and propane BBQ outside. Propane is supplied. There is also a large communal firepit in the open space outside the bunkies and we sell firewood onsite. And make sure you check out the "Secret Garden" - follow the path into the woods beside the "Wagamese Bunkie". There is a hammock and benches in the garden (depending on the season).

Bed linens, towels, soap and shampoo are provided.

Wifi is available, but it comes from the main house via a wifi extender, so it will not work for streaming. The bunkie is lit with portable battery operated lamps. You can find replacement batteries in the outdoor kitchen. There is also one electrical outlet, a small heater inside the bunkie (spring/fall) and fans (summer). Please note that the bunkie is not insulated so it will be cool even with the heater if the weather outside is cold so come prepared with extra blankets (we supply sheets, a quilt and a comforter) if you are concerned about temperature. You should treat this like camping except with walls.

There is no smoking inside but the property is 420 friendly.

As the Covid-19/Coronavirus situation continues around the world, we understand that you may wish to isolate yourself from others. You can self check-in and self-isolate as well if you are willing to forgo using the shared facilities on the property and treat this like a more traditional camping experience. Feel free to bring along a portable toilet and a container for water (as you might do while camping), if you are uncomfortable using the shared facilities. If you do make this choice, then it is possible to avoid all contact with other people, including your hosts, while you are here.

The loft does not have railings so it is not safe for children. This bunkie will comfortably accommodate 2 people.

Guest access
Parking is available. You have full access to our 3 acre property, except the garage and the main house, which is our personal residence. Feel free to go anywhere else on the property, including the Secret Garden in the woods. Please maintain 6.5 feet of social distance or more. It’s best to just wave to people right now.

Other things to note
Please note the following: Our property is located off highway 6, so you can hear the traffic. There is a compost toilet, an outdoor shower, an outdoor sink, and an outdoor kitchenette. This is a rustic setup - it's a glamping experience - if you are expecting a fancy hotel, this isn't it. ;)

Hi, I'm Kat. I own the Dreamers Writing Farm, a 3 acre writing-themed property in the Bruce Peninsula, a short drive from Sauble Beach. On my farm, find a Secret Garden in the woods, a set of secluded bunkies each named after a Canadian author, 6 large vegetable boxes, and a studio apartment (with full amenities), as well as an open-air shower and an outdoor kitchen. I also have 3 Nigerian dwarf goats, the Brothers Grimm, named Gus, Gunther, and Griffin. They are friendly and you can definitely pet them. :) I'm a writer, a PhD student, a marketing professional, and a mother. I specialize in writing for personal development, including therapeutic writing, developmental creative writing and writing with the goal of developing a healthy career identity. I publish the Dreamers Magazine, available across Canada, and I run a website called Dreamers Creative Writing that is focused on heartfelt writing. I also teach writing to heal classes and workshops. The Dreamers Writing Farm, in Hepworth, has been set up as a calm and relaxing space to unwind while experiencing the Bruce Peninsula's natural beauty. Join me and enjoy everything the Bruce Peninsula has to offer!
