The apartment was as good or better then photos. Clean, homely, and comfortable. Great location. Sarah and Asha were accommodating and gracious. Would gladly stay there again!

Sarah's apartment was great. We stayed the whole family, two teenage kids and it was a great choice over expensive NY hotel rooms. Sarah was a very welcoming host and met us when we arrived and showed us around. Lower East Side is an exciting and busy neighbourhood that I know we…

Nice, clean apartment in an older building. Lots of room for a NYC apartment. More than adequate space for four adults. Prior reviews mentioned the noise in the area. There is some noise, but it is NYC. I am a very light sleeper and had no problem sleeping. I was able to turn on …

Sarah was not good with her communication with us, both before we arrived and around our departure. The apartment was old but reasonably clean. It was in a very noisy location and construction work for a new building was being carried out next door. The entrance was spectacular…

Response from Sarah:
Dear Mick, Thank you for your comments. I apologize if there were gaps in our communication, as I had expressed initially we were traveling to areas with limited access to internet and phone and had left you with direct contact to our assistant if you had needed anything, further I wished you had expressed dissatisfaction with our communication prior to the end of our trip as we would have worked to resolve any issue. Traditionally the Lower East side is a neighborhood of Pre-War buildings (which we live in) and tenement housing, a historical feature we really love. This gives our apt an eclectic and vintage feeling in the architectural details expressed accurately in the imagery on our airbnb page and also informs the style with which we have designed the space. We hope our guests appreciate this fact as well as the great quality of light and larger floor plan that comes along with it, something hard to find in newer constructions in NYC. In regards to the noise, please keep in mind that NYC is one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in the world and currently undergoing major construction efforts in every neighborhood, noise is hard to avoid no matter where you stay in the city. We had just made new keys for you so I will have a new set re-made in the future. Thank you for letting us know in the review that they were sticking. Hope your trip was great otherwise!
