Relax and unwind in our private, secluded, rustic sanctuary just 2 hours northwest of New York City. We are nestled off the main road, hidden on our 7 acre property. The entire house (and land) is yours to enjoy.

The space
At our home you will find a meticulously renovated open plan living room with high ceilings, massive stone fireplace, and kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The top floor also includes a tiled full bath with a skylight, and two charming bedrooms for your tranquil sleep. The master features an inviting king size bed, double closets and a writing desk; the smaller bedroom has two comfortable twin size beds, a closet and a writing desk.

Downstairs we have a cozy family room complete with smart TV, Netflix, DVD player, two record players, family games (including monopoly, chess, checkers, scattergories, scrabble etc.), toys, and classic books. Our family room includes a full bath with a sliding barn door, and an additional room for laundry.

Sit outside on one of our two custom-built brand new decks, watch the local wildlife and listen to the woodpeckers and hummingbirds, take in the natural foliage from oaks or pines, or enjoy the soothing and crackling fire pit. You can also BBQ, delight in the night sky under the heating lamp, or just take a quick reset nap on one of two lounge chairs. For kids we have a sandbox, a playhouse and other outdoor toys in the shed.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house (minus the storage room, unless you are doing laundry), and all 7 acres of our land.

A few minutes to town to enjoy food, parks, lakes, farmer’s markets, hiking and so much more. 8 minutes to the Delaware river for epic scenic views, boating, rowing, and canoeing. We are close to the historic site of Woodstock, Bethel Woods, which hosts weekly musical events, and the beautiful spa and lodge at Woodloch in PA. Native New Yorker mom of two girls. I teach high school English in Brooklyn and I love my city, nature, reading, writing, art and all kinds of music. A great day for me is strolling through Prospect Park, relaxing on the beach, or hiking upstate. My home is my cozy getaway and I like my guests to feel comfortable and have everything they need while they are visiting.
