Cosy, one bedroom garden suite, we live above, old style lower ceiling, on ground floor of house with kitchen facility, no stove, private bathroom with bathtub across the hall, and south facing covered patio. Tastefully furnished with original art work. Only two blocks from very urban Commercial Drive, with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops; it is the perfect hideaway.

The space
The space is tastefully furnished offering original art by resident artist. The bedroom has a real queen bed. Foldable couch in the living room can sleep a couple, or two kids. Altogether a possibility for a family of four. Additional charge of $50 each for third and fourth person (children are persons too).

Commercial Drive is the most vibrant, urban "hood" in Vancouver, Little Italy with cafes restaurants and shops. My favourite is Cafe Calabria on the Drive at 2nd Ave. Italian statues, music, sandwiches and soups, cold drinks and coffee. Downtown is accessible by skytrain, or the #20 bus. Fave restaurants are: Sopra Sotto, Italian restaurant and Cafe du Soleil on the Drive. Shopping is 24/7 in Supervalue at Commercial and 1st and Triple A's with great choice of organic stuff also at Commercial and 1st on the east side. Liquor store is at Grant and Commercial and private liquor store Liberty's is just before 1st on the east side of Commercial. My listing is two blocks from the Drive in a quiet residential area.
