The space
THE BUILDING
• The Old Town building also called “Captain's House" built in the early 20th century.
• Historically this building was designed for a dock staff.
• It is an old building with a history and has its perks and downsides.
• The studio is located on the top 4th floor and there is no elevator.

THE STUDIO
• Comfortable takes one person or a couple for a short stay.
• A double bed has a firm mattress (size 200*140cm).
• A drawer cabinet and a hanger to get things organised.
• The wooden floor is the same age as the building.
• Historically we guess this studio was built for captain's mistress :).

THE KITCHEN AREA
• Electric two hole hob that can be placed on the counter.
• Drawers with kitchen utensils, pots and pants.
• Basic seasoning, tea and sugar.
• Water from the tap is safe to drink.
• Small bar top for quick breakfast or light work on the laptop.

THE SHOWER & WC
• The shower is located in the kitchen area and the toilet is located next door to the studio, but only used by you.
• The places of these amenities are due to the interesting nature of Old Town buildings and piping.
• Shampoo, shower gel and towels will be provided.

THE BALCONY
• The balcony is bigger than the studio.
• It is shared with the flat next door, but you are welcome to use it as much as you want.
• From the balcony you'll be able to see the Town Hall, King's Vytautas Church and the bridge over the longest Lithuania river Nemunas.

The studio is located in the Old Town next to bars, restaurants, boutiques, etc., but is quite at night almost every day.

The Old Town of Kaunas is slightly uncared for, most buildings need renovation, but there are plenty of things to do if only you know what you like.

The neighbourhood is safe and you shouldn't worry about walking home at night.
