We are a residential retreat center for those who seek a more conscious and mindful approach to life. With 6 well appointed lodgings and 3 dark meditation chambers we offer long-term stays of one month or longer. Nestled in a lush tropical, oasis we are very close to the Hridaya Yoga Center and the beautiful beaches of Mazunte and San Agustinillo.

This multi-level cabana has a private balcony and hammock and is surrounded by tropical garden with access to a large pool and communal kitchen.

The space
This beautiful cabaña includes a wooden bedroom mezzanine with double bed, quality mosquito netting, and a palapa roof with dome skylight and fans. The lower area has a separate bathroom, a lounge with large screened windows, sofa futon and writing table. There is also a private balcony with hammock and lounge chairs for a view on the garden and pool. Clean drinking water is provided.

This hidden sanctuary is like being in your own private tropical garden it is the perfect place to reconnect with yourself, with your inner aspirations and with nature. Enjoy your morning yoga in the meditation hall or fresh sweet bread and juice from the bakery near-by as you lounge on your balcony or take a midnight swim in the pool. You would never guess that you are minutes away from the beaches and restaurants.

Please note that though we strive for a tranquil environment we are also situated in a small beach town where; dogs bark at night, construction trucks pass on the nearby road, locals occasionally party in the main square, neighbors have family quarrels and children (our 4 year old when we are present) play as children do; it is village life. So if you expect the quiet solitude of an isolated retreat then Mazunte may not be the place to travel to. But if you wish to stay in a place that is comfortable, safe and beautiful that supports interior practices and mindful living and close to everything that a beach town offers then you are welcome to stay with us. We are here to ensure that your time spent with us is pleasurable, safe, heartfelt and memorable.

Please take the time to read the house rules, so that you know what to expect when you are here.
