The space
Our comfortable light-filled apartment comes with a double bedroom, modern kitchen and spacious living room containing a double sofa bed, TV, workspace and dining area.

The flat is opposite Airbus and very close to Rolls Royce, MoD, Aviva, HP and UWE. Aztec West, Southmead Hospital and Cribbs Causeway are just a short drive or bus journey away. The property also comes with a free parking space and is close to plenty of shops and cafes.

Filton is on the northern edge of Bristol, about four miles from the city centre via Gloucester Road (A38). It spans the area between the counties of Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

It's home to aerospace companies BAE Systems, Airbus and Rolls Royce. Southmead Hospital, Royal Mail and UWE are also nearby. Filton has two main high streets – Gloucester Road North and Filton Avenue.

It's a family area, but also popular with UWE students who want easy access to the city. There are some lovely, large areas of open space, including playing fields, a golf course and even an airfield (the former home of Concorde).

Housing in Filton is mainly 1930s. In the last ten years or so, lots of local authority housing has been replaced with modern homes, including townhouses and flats. Some of these are retirement homes and some Shared Ownership properties.

The A38 (Gloucester Road) is the main route to the city centre and connects with the M4/M5 interchange at Almondsbury, two miles north.
