If you want to be where the action is, this is the spot! Located close to downtown, the 8th Street Alley House is in the Soulard Neighborhood. Soulard is known for the Farmers Market, historic homes, restaurants, bars and shops and is home to the Anheuser Busch Brewery. Within one block there are 7 restaurants and a craft beer house. The 8th Street Alley house has been decorated in a Shabby Chic style. All the floors are hard surface (except the bedroom closets) - parquet wood, ceramic tile and painted wood. Parking is a breeze with an attached one car garage! There is also ample street parking for additional cars. Enjoy the quaint brick courtyard which includes a charcoal grill. You will have a washer/dryer for your use. The whole house is yours for your private enjoyment. The beds are one king, one queen and 2 twins, there is also a queen size air mattress. Living room has a flat screen TV with cable for your enjoyment.
Access is via a special code made for you. The whole house, garage and courtyard are yours to enjoy.

This is an unofficial entertainment district. If the weather is warm and you are here on a weekend, there will be some noise. The neighborhood is lively.
No Parties, No smoking, No exceptions. Please do not leave cigarette butts in the courtyard but rather dispose of them appropriately.
Before checking out, please put all dishes in the dishwasher or clean them and place them on the drying rack. Please do not put pans or knives in the dishwasher, but rather wash them by hand.
Also, please place all used towels in the laundry basket next to the washer.
Check out time is 11 am. If you want late check out, it must be confirmed ahead of time as we may have guests checking in that day.
If you have a spill please use the rags under the sink or in the hall bath or paper towels. Please do not use the white towels or washcloths.
Please dispose of diapers in plastic bags and place them in the brown dumpster in the alley. You can use the grocery bags in the bottom drawer under the microwave or take a kitchen garbage bag to the bathroom and dispose of that bag upon check out.
We have provided oodles of washcloths for removal of makeup, please do not use hand towels or bath towels for this purpose.
Please do not use towels for clean up of any sort. There are rags on the stairs to nowhere (which are in the hall bath) and under the sink (in the kitchen) as well as paper towels for cleaning up messes.
