We had a wonderful stay in Sara's lovely cottage. Sara did everything she could to make us feel welcome- from letting us drop off our bags early to buying us some pain au chocolat and coffee for our breakfast on the first morning! She also suggested a route we could take for our first proper walk in Bath which was absolutely perfect and helped us to get our bearings for the rest of our trip. Sara has thought of absolutely everything when equipping the cottage and making it comfortable. It has a very stylish yet homely feel, we were sad to leave. Sara gave a very good explanation of how everything in the house worked and made it very clear that she was 'on call' if we needed anything else. The location is perfect- just outside the busy, touristic area but just a couple of streets away from the Royal Crescent and surely the most beautiful view in Bath. We were very happy to stumble across a lovely park right at the back of the cottage too. There are supermarkets nearby, the river is a short walk away and in 5 minutes you have your pick of restaurants and pubs. Everything was exactly as described- in fact even better! The trip was for our first wedding anniversary so we are especially grateful to Sara for making our stay so special. We have lots of lovely memories now.

Sara was at the cottage to meet us and show us around and was quite thorough in explaining the workings of everything. The cottage was as shown in pictures and was very clean. The location was quite good, although walking back from town was uphill (not a problem for some...a bit of a chore for those of us not used to hill climbing). Sara did give us an alternate route though which was somewhat easier. The cottage was stocked with essentials, even butter and some morning pastries, which were appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely accommodation and I would recommend it to others.

The cottage was adorable and tidy--tastefully appointed without any personal clutter, so we didn't feel like we were imposing on someone else's space. Sara offered us a warm welcome and thorough induction, both to the house and the city of Bath itself. The layout and contents of the house are very efficient--we had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. It was perfect for a three-night stay for my mother, my husband and me. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen, laundry and bathroom are modern. Everything was spotlessly clean and laid out for guests when we arrived. The rack of maps and pamphlets was helpful. The house is well-located on a fairly quiet street within a ten-minute walk of the city centre, though the somewhat steep streets in all directions may be daunting for elderly or mobility-restricted guests. The street filled with traffic at the end of each workday, but this was not noisy and did not trouble us. The double-layered windows really did keep the house quiet. We felt secure night and day. As part of the initial tour we were alerted to the fire blanket and extinguisher, which we didn't need but were glad to know were there. We had a very pleasant stay!

Sara made me feel very welcome at Penny Cottage. A stunning dolls house sized cottage in the centre of historical Bath. The cottage had a well stocked kitchen enabling me to cook fab meals at home. Sara was always on hand if you needed anything.

Loved staying at the Georgian cottage. Sara met us at the door and showed us how everything worked which was very helpful. She also left us with a stocked frig so we could have tea or breakfast. Sara realized the tea kettle had a flaw so she brought us a new one almost immediately. The cottage was our home away from home while we were in Bath. It is in a great location which made it easy to walk to the city center. The bathroom is large and the whole place is comfortable. If we ever get to return to Bath, we would want to stay here again. Thank you Sara!

Lovely well-kept cottage for 2-3 people with Bath city centre in easy walking distance. Sara explained everything well upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed from washing-up liquid to tin foil to a hair dryer. Recommended stay!
