The space
We offer free wifi, so after a fun filled day at the falls you can sit back in the cozy living room and watch a favorite show on the 55 inch Smart TV(no cable). We also have a few games to choose from if you prefer some interactive family time: Apples to Apples, Uno, Cards, and Dominoes.
The kitchen includes a Keurig and choice of Green Mountain bold or medium coffee. If you prefer eating in, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need (incl. salt, pepper, and olive oils) to cook and serve a meal, or you can throw a few steaks on the gas grill in the back yard. The dining table seats up to 8, so you can enjoy a causal or fine dining experience.

Where you’ll be

Cookeville, Tennessee, United States

Cookeville is surrounded by many lakes, rivers, and waterfalls to explore while hiking, fishing, or kayaking. A few places to visit are: Cummins Falls*, Burgess Falls, Center Hill Lake, Dale Hollow Lake, Standing Stone Park, and Fall Creek Falls.
In downtown Cookeville, Dogwood Park is a family friendly hot spot where you can enjoy an outdoor movie, concert or let the kids play in the interactive fountain. You can dine at one of our many wonderful restaurants: Char Steaks and Seafood, Red Silo Brewing Co., Mauricio's Italian Restaurant, The Blue Pig, or Crawdaddy's Grill. Also, you can enjoy a treat at either of Cookeville's landmark locations, Cream City Ice Cream & Coffee House, or Ralph's Donut Shop.
* A permit is now required to hike to the falls at Cummins Falls and children 12 and under are required to wear a life jacket, which they do provide but recommend you bring your own. Permits are limited, so we highly recommend purchasing one when making your reservation. The price is $6 per person plus tax. tnstateparks.com/parks/cummins-falls

We are a blended family. Dave has 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren and Denise has 2 boys, 14 and 18. Dave is a semi-retired auto mechanic that worked for Tesla the last 5 years of his career, and is currently doing handyman work to keep busy. Denise had a career in bookkeeping that she gave up to be a stay at home mom and home school our boys. We are both native Californians, who wanted a slower paced life, so we decided to move to Cookeville. The beauty of the rolling pastures, water falls, southern hospitality, and a better place to raise a family brought us here. Now we live in a log home and run a hobby farm. Currently, we have free range chickens and turkeys along with bee hives, a dog, 3 cats, and a bearded dragon! Eventually, we would like to add some livestock; cows, pigs and possibly goats. We love to use Airbnb while traveling and enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. Our favorite Airbnb was a quaint, authentic home that we stayed at while in Italy. We would love to make your stay at our Airbnb the best experience you have ever had!
