Cozy main floor suite in Strathcona, known as the arts district in Vancouver. Nestled in the centre of 'Yeast Van', there are multiple craft breweries within walking distance. Ten minute walk to Commercial Drive and a five minute drive to downtown.

The space
We are both artists and there is a pottery studio on site. Many details in the house are custom made here including the dishes, tiles, knobs and lights. There's a big screen and projector for movie night and a back patio area with bbq. This house is surrounded by garden and it feels like you are in a cottage in the country not downtown Vancouver.

Where you’ll be

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Strathcona is a well known arts district in Vancouver and home to the world famous East Side Culture Crawl which is a four day event in November where all of the artists open their studios to the public. We are on a bike path and there is a bike share located up the block. There are a number of sweet little coffee shops like the Union Market and the Wilder Snail that double as grocery stores. Strathcona is also at the heart of the brewery district. There are all sorts of great tasting rooms within walking distance from the house.

I'm a potter and garden designer. I graduated from Capilano University and Emily Carr where I studied ceramics, sculpture and painting. This is my 18th year making pottery here in Vancouver. I share my studio with my best friend who I met at art school. I've also been landscaping for 15 years and I graduated from the garden design program at UBC. My husband's name is Clay and he is a film maker. We have a goofy bull terrier named Boomie.
