Modern rustic cabin that backs up to Grayson Highlands State Park, and the Jefferson National Forest. Be prepared for stargazing and cool refreshing nights. Minutes from Grayson Highlands State Park, Appalachian Trail, and the Creeper Trail. Damascus, Lansing and West Jefferson are all within 30 minutes from the cabin. All the modern conveniences in a rural setting.

The space
The cabin is a traditional full dovetail Appalachian cabin constructed of white pine. The cabin is around 650 ft.² with a full bathroom, full kitchen/dining area, loft bedroom area. The structure has a covered vaulted front porch and rear porch. A large patio with Adirondack chairs makes for a relaxing space to spend evenings in the natural settings of the cabin grounds. There are many amenities to make the guest feel more at home Including towels, linens for the beds, soap/shampoo, cooking utensils, pots/pans and anything else you would need for cooking. We have a Weber gas grill on the back porch for grilling out as well. In addition, we provide complementary coffee and firewood (with fatwood starters) for the wood stove and outdoor fire pit located on the patio.

The cabin is located in the perfect proximity to both Grayson Highlands State Park, the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, and the Creeper Trail. The cabin is also located within proximity to Lansing, West Jefferson and Damascus. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this is the great location to get away and enjoying nature while still enjoying the comforts of home.
