Stellar Guest House was built in and opened 2020. It is a two bedroom home on two storeys that you will have entirely to yourself! You will be very centrally located to beaches, shops, food, surf, and Pacific Rim National Park. Our home is inspired by our three favourite places - Tofino coastal cozy homes, Kansai Japan architecture, and west coast Mexican design. Feel like a local in your own Tofino home!

The space
Your house is unique - built into a granite cliffside for a characteristic backyard and secluded outdoor shower. The Guest House features a full kitchen with gas stove, full laundry, a smart TV with chrome cast, hi speed fibre internet, a cozy gas fireplace, and BBQ. There is also a hot outdoor shower for after surfing and rainy beach walks.

We welome your pet to join you at home, it is a dog paradise and we are within walking distance to many great dog walking spots. In 7 minutes you can walk to MacKenzie Beach or the shopping complex with Tacofino, ice cream, surf rentals, grocery, cannabis store, yoga, bike rental, takeout foods and more!

In 15 minutes you can walk to Tofino Brewery, Distillery, Fish Shop, deli, and food outlets.

In 10 minutes you can drive to Pacific Rim National Park, which is just 8km away.

In 5 minutes you can drive to downtown Tofino, in the summer there is also a free shuttle that has a stop one block from the guest house.

We welcome up to four guests in two bedrooms and one bath, with additional pullout sofa. We are kid friendly! We think four guests are most comfortable but of course let us know and we can permit additional children. One pet is allowed but you must get advanced approval from the host. The fee for a pet is $50.

There is a private keypad self-entry and parking on-site for up to two vehicles. No smoking.

The Guest House is located in a residential neighbourhood with your hosts, Erika and Martin, living on-site in a separate residence. No parties or events, quiet time 11pm to 8am

Please note that air conditioning is not provided as it is not required in this climate. Fans are provided.

We are just a 5 min walk across the road from a great sunset, dog walk and SUP beach. Also a 5min walk to shopping and food such as Tacofino, other eats, ice cream, surf rentals, bike rentals, yoga, mini grocery, and other shops. A 15 walk to Industrial Way with brewery, charcuterie, bakery, distillery; and fish store. We are also in the block for a stop for the free summer shuttle that will take you (and your boards or bikes!) anywhere in Tofino or to Cox Bay.

Erika and Marty live in Tofino, BC, Canada. We work locally and host our own vacation rental, Stellar Guest House, that we built in 2020. Our house is inspired by some of our favorite travels to Japan and Mexico along with west coast style and amenities. We think this is a great spot for families to hang and live in. We are avid hikers, surfers, fishers, eaters, and all round adventurers. We look forward to your visit!
