Welcome to Château du Raysse - an enchanting Medieval castle in the Dordogne with breathtaking views of the beautiful countryside. The Château dates back to 1155 and is steeped in history. It offers 15 comfortable en-suite rooms as well as a two bedroom apartment. There are two swimming pools, gorgeous grounds, two kitchens, grand hall, dining hall, library, patios, balconies and much more. It is the perfect place for family reunions and special events.

The space
A charming château, full of character, you and your party will enjoy private en-suite rooms, filled with heaps of period features. The views from the rooms are simply breath-taking, looking over the beautiful rolling hills and green forests. All basic amenities are included to make your stay comfortable and you will have complete and exclusive access to the estate during your stay.

The facilities include one large, modern kitchen which is fully equipped with ovens, hobs, fridges, freezers, washing machine and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. There is also a smaller rustic kitchen to use. There is a comfortable library - with its own adjoining bar - perfect for a cosy drink in one of the comfy armchairs. There is also a dining area, which you are welcome to use. In the adjoining maison there is a large hall which you can also access which is ideal for receptions and gatherings.

On the estate there are two swimming pools, surrounded by sun loungers, plenty of grounds to explore and our friendly donkey, Vanille, loves to come and say hello!

The area is simply stunning and is within easy reach of Sarlat and Rocamadour as well as all the other local tourist attractions.

There is ample parking on site.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to help!
