Are you looking for a place to find peace and calm? Welcome to our family's holiday home 3 minutes walk from the sea. We use it for holiday, writing retreats, rest and recovery. We absolutely love it and surely you will too! It is 60 sqm, refurbished in 2019, bright and full of charm. The apartment is in an old, small hotel on a hill top with wonderful views of the area. There are numerous terraces around the house, so it is possible to always find a place to enjoy the sun.

The space
Our apartment is perfect for anyone who is looking for a place to rest - alone or with family. Here you can live a simple life a little while, enjoy nature, walks by the beach, reading, writing, play board games or yummy icecream in the village of Vejers. The apartment has two small bedrooms, a bathroom and an open living space with a new kitchen. It fits nicely for a solo traveler, a couple or a family with two kids. It includes a fridge, freezer, oven/stove, and a Nespresso coffee machine. We do not have a washing machine, but it is possible to use the washing facilities (upon payment) at the campgrounds located just 3 minutes from the apartment.

Note: This is a self-serviced apartment, so you will need to check yourself in, bring your own bed linen, towels and clean the apartment yourself before you leave.

The west coast of Denmark has the best beaches in Denmark (if you ask me) and our apartment is located only 3 minutes walking from the beach in a truly wonderful area. Vejers village center is a 12 minutes walk from the apartment. It has restaurants, a supermarket, small shops and a great playground for kids. If you feel like exploring, you can easily go to Blåvand to visit the zoo, the Tirpitz museum or go shopping (10 minutes by car). Legoland and Givskud Zoo are about 75 minutes away, Ribe the oldest city in Denmark is 60 minutes away by car. The local area is beautiful and very characteristic for the west coast. It is great for biking trips, walking and running. It is not uncommon to meet a deer or two when out and about in the neighborhood.
