This converted stables is cosy and unique, yet has the comfort and privacy needed to get away from it all. Set within the boundaries of our gardens and orchard, The Drey, is so named because of the squirrel neighbours; who visit your private decking and patio. This tiny house has everything you will need from log burner, makings of first full english breakfast, chefs basics and a homemade cake as a gift! We also offer an option of a 3l slow cooker stew on the day of arrival for £15

The space
The Drey is comfortable and cosy. There is a full size cooker, slow cooker, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and a large variety of cooking and serving utensils. The loo is accessed directly next to the front door under cover.
The surroundings are pretty and rural, but at times there is some road noise at busy periods.
Within 1 mile of local amenities, yet walk out of your door, into our lane and have access to the open countryside with glorious views over the Mendip hills and the Somerset levels. Within a 7 minute walk you will find a local pub and gastro hotel.
Drive to the beautiful city of Wells 10 mins, Bath 35 mins, Glastonbury Tor 15 mins, Vibrant Frome 25 mins, Weston-Super-Mare 60 mins, Cheddar 30 mins, Longleat 40 mins or Wookey Hole 30 mins,to name just a few places of interest on your doorstep.

Guest access
Guests are free to use the patio and decking area directly surrounding The Drey. This allows the total privacy and the benefit of views over the garden and orchard.
Guests have a designated parking space, which is clearly marked.
Access to the Drey is through an arch and down steps at the side of the garages. This is a shared access, to garden and orchard, with Lisa's family.

Other things to note
Please note, although rural and peaceful; at certain times there is road noise.
Please take care when descending the steps, as they are steep.

Hi there, My husband, family and I have lived here for the past 15 years. We run a Tree surgery business and have homeschooled our 5 children, 3 of whom are married and left home. My mum June lives in the main house, while we have a lovely airy apartment on the ground floor. Multi-generational living really works for us. I enjoy entertaining, baking and the country way of life. We look forward to meeting our future guests.
