Your cares and worries melt away at your Cozy Artist Cottage, lovely two-story home located in the lush forest with a 600 feet walk to the lake dock. Situated in the heart of the Adirondacks in a large, historic lakefront camp on picturesque Upper St. Regis Lake with stunning views of St. Regis Mountain from the property. Rest and relax after a wonderful day of swimming, kayaking or hiking and enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the shared dock! More accommodations available on site.

The space
Three bedroom (one queen, one full, two twins), 2 bath, full kitchen, 1-1/2 baths (1 shower, 1 claw foot tub.) Vaulted ceilings in the living room and master bedroom. One Queen bed sleeps two in a spectacular vaulted ceiling and huge window with a screened porch, and a private outside stair way. Adjoining is a largest cozy living room/dining room with two sofas, big screen tv with streaming channels, vaulted ceiling, wood burning stove, lots of windows, book case two upholstered arm Chairs, kitchen with full gas stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, double stainless sink, cabinets, work space, downstairs washer/dryer shared with lower unit. Private entrance and parking.

The St. Regis lakes are known for their historic Adirondack Great camps and antique wooden sailboats and power boats. The Visitors Interpretive Center is a 5 minute drive away, with many groomed walking trails for every skill level, featuring lakes, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife. The entire area is excellent for birding and wildlife and mountain photography. The High Peaks Region is filled with lakes and hiking and climbing trails. Lake Placid offers an historic movie theater and a wide selection of restaurants, bars and music venues. Visit the Olympic buildings in Lake Placid. Tour the Robert Louis Stevenson house Saranac Lake. The Wild Center museum in Tupper Lake is an amazing tribute to the Adirondacks and fun for the whole family.
