This newly renovated, 400 square foot suite in our 'home-tel' has been lovingly labelled the Honeymoon suite and includes all the amenities a traveller would expect in an upscale, unique space. Beautiful bathroom with high end fixtures, stand up shower and free standing tub. Luxurious king bed. Tastefully designed and carefully curated decor. It will undoubtedly be the best night's sleep you've ever had! Church bells and ocean breezes waft through the windows. Front harbour views!
The space
The Ivy House was established in 2019 and is a fully functioning accommodations business following provincial and local guidelines and bi-laws. Affectionately named after our daughter, The Ivy House includes three, newly renovated suites. Similar to a traditional hotel, your room will be across the hall from one other suite. Both suites are located on the top floor of a 4000 square foot, heritage home. The third suite is on the main floor. All areas are secured with keyed locks and very private. The shared hallways are very large and the ceilings are high, giving the spaces an airy and roomy feel. The home was recently renovated as a 'home-tel' and many extras were added to the renovation to follow this vision. All interior walls and flooring were insulated for maximum privacy and noise control. Each suite is outfitted with its own hot water tank so your tub will never run cold. Extra heat sources were added to each unit. The spaces are very peaceful and designed tastefully modern, scandinavian with a pinch of coastal :)

Hallway cafe:
We have created a shared coffee and tea nook for guests in the upstairs hallway - just outside your suite. There is a small sitting area and a beverage set up that includes complimentary bottled and fizzy water, juice, local coffee and tea selections with all the fixings. Also included are small, sweet treats baked by myself.
A toddler bed is available for little travellers but we do recommend that this suite would only be comfortable for one child + parents. Please feel free to message me with any questions :)

Looking for a work out? We've got you covered. Local instructor will set up on site and take you and your travel partners through a barre or barrelates style program. Please inquire at time of booking!
