The studio-flat is located on the fourth floor of a historic building without elevator ( 77 steps!) on Via del Boschetto. - located in one of Rome's ancient quarters, Rione Monti which is a very trendy area and full of restaurants, shops, bars and young people. Also public transport is very near and all tourist sights are a short walk away. 5 minutes walk to the Colosseum, and other archeological sites. Safe and convenient.

The space

The studio is very bright and spacious, and the little balcony on the street is pleasant. The kitchen facilities are limited and are adequate only for small meals and breakfast. The bathroom is small but functional.

Guest access

Keep in mind the four floors climb if you have big and heavy luggage it is a lot or work coming up for the first time!

Overall, it was a nice stay at her place. Location, room size, and everything was great and same that I saw from pictures. Especially Location was great. (It was very close to Colosseum and other major sites) Few things which didn't bother me at all, but would like to mention is that bathroom size was much smaller than I thought and it can be confusing of locking the door at first time.

This place was great! We stayed here for 3 nights - it had air conditioning, was clean, and best of all had an ideal location. Everything we wanted to see, including the Vatican, was completely walkable. We were next to countless amazing restaurants and cafes. Only drawbacks were the 4 flights of stairs - which they are very clear about in their description- and we didn't receive comprehensive instructions at check-in about the key and leaving the building. That said - we checked in a day late because of an issue with our flight so Evidge wasn't able to meet us because of that, but instead her niece checked us in- who was delightful but may not have known the same level of detail. Other than that, we had a perfect time and loved our stay!

This is a really great place, 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum, Conad supermarket right across the road, and plenty of places to eat and hang out very close, including ice cream. Vegan ice cream, of astonishing quality! The room has good air conditioning, and is quiet at night, with facilities to cook. 4th floor walk is a small price to pay for a lovely, secluded room, in a beautiful old building. Edvige was a very welcoming and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby, a decent shop across the road for buying food, and walking distance to all the main attractions in Rome. Apartment was very clean, and was perfect for a few nights in the city.

The best location you could ask for - Edvige was a wonderful host, check in was really easy (despite us arriving really late around 1am we were greeted at the door and made to feel like it was no problem at all), and we were able to leave our bags until quite late on the day we left which was enormously helpful! You're surrounded by great places to eat and drink here, and can walk to the Colosseum in 10 minutes, the historical centre in 15-20, and you're really close to public transport to get to Vatican City. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Rome to check this place out as it helped make our trip so wonderful!

The studio is modest but very charming and in an excellent location. The steps up to the flat would be difficult with lots of luggage but were fine for us with cabin bags. Edvige was very flexible with arrival and leaving times and was really relaxed and kind. The kitchen is a little small but as another reviewer has noted - you should be eating Italian food anyway! The only other downside I can think of is that it is a shame not to have two keys - as the studio is annexed from Edvige's own flat, it is not very easy to let someone else in (if you want to do separate things) without going all the way downstairs to let them in. But not a big deal!
