Inspired by sustainable design, 3 Sisters Boutique Hotel provides a carefully curated private oasis in a rural arts community. Located on the second floor of a fully restored 1893 historical building that overlooks Blyth’s main street. Come rest, read, take an art class, see a show at the Blyth Festival, do yoga on the terrace, visit Cowbell Brewing, shop, rent a bike, celebrate a special occasion, book one or all three and leave inspired and energized.

The space
The Design: Harmonizing with it’s surroundings, Three Sisters features decorative elements found in agriculture, art, theatre, and the natural world, a unique Huron county accommodation destination unto itself. Working with R. M. Scout Design we set out to create a space where guests are cared for. From the carefully curated, 100-year-old pine coffee tables and historical prints to the Turkish throw pillow and sheep skins, the hotel appeals to everyone.

The Terrace: When you arrive through the alley and climb the stairs you are welcomed into a quiet green filled natural space. The terrace is complete with Edison lights, sun sails, large wooden planter boxes and outdoor fire tables, so settle in and enjoy a glass of local wine or beer and take in the beautiful Huron County sky.

The Layout: The entrance provides a great landing space to kick off your shoes, and hang your totes upon arrival. Immediately inside the door of this 373 square foot space you will find a fully outfitted Kitchenette for simple meal preparation, complete with electric stove top, convection microwave oven and fridge, dishes, utensils and cooking oil. The living area provides a great space for relaxing by the fireplace and unwinding with a good book. The leather couch pulls out into a queen size bed and easily sleeps two. A partition wall separates the sleeping area without obstructing the natural light from the large decorative arched window at the back. Settle in for a great nights sleep in our super soft queen size bed outfitted with cotton bedding and tasteful accent pillows. The bedside tables are made from century barn beams, giving the room an old world charm with a modern flare. The armoire is lit when you open the door for your convenience and includes an ironing board, extra pillows and blankets as well as sheets for the pullout couch. A three-piece bath, includes high quality vegan bathing products by Oneka and fluffy white towels for your pleasure.

Our Coffee: Three Sisters Boutique Hotel partners with Shop Bike Coffee in Bayfield to bring in locally roasted fair trade coffee for your enjoyment. The 3 Sisters Blend is a full body medium roast coffee, try sweetening it with some local maple syrup provided in suite from Blyth Creek Maple Farm and enjoy! In keeping with sustainable philosophy we provide a French Press for our coffee, brewing instructions are provided in suite, and a compost bin for the grounds!

Our Skin and Haircare Products: 3 Sisters sources Oneka from Frelighsburg, Quebec, for our hand and body soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Oneka is a small family owned soap company that uses certified organic and wild harvested herbal extracts to nourish the hair and body. By providing a product that is not only ethically produced but refillable we are able to cut down on plastics, and provide a product that we are proud of. Thank you for supporting this initiative, hope you enjoy!

In Room Provision: We provide a basket of in room provisions of our best locally produced products and some of our favourite snacks for purchase, to select simply check off the items you wish to try on the menu provided and send a photo of it to your host Annie. Annie will send you a request for funds through Airbnb, no additional fees are required through Airbnb for the transaction.
