Come to Persimmon Road and enjoy our charming lakefront cabin. The yard is full of wildflowers, hummingbirds, lightning bugs and the sky is full of stars. You might even see some shooting stars or an owl!
The Lake House has plenty of outdoor living space with its screened porch and deck. There's also a big yard for the kids, both young and old, to play. Peace and tranquility will fill your days and nights.
The space
The Lake House was one of three built by TVA for Norris Dam engineers to live in. Original details such as hardwood floors, horizontal interior wood paneling are still present.
Please note, as the Lake House does not have a washer/dryer, we ask guests to bring their own sheets and towels. Beds will be made when you arrive to ensure cleanliness. Please remake beds with our sheets when you depart.
The cabin is only available for rent April - October and many of those weeks are reserved for family. Our family has owned this property since the 1950s and we are excited to share our special place.

Norris Dam and Museum of Appalachia are very close by. Closest grocery is Archers in Norris with a great meat, beer and wine selection. Try the homemade pimento cheese!
The neighborhood is very quiet. Persimmon Road is lightly travelled and great for walking and bike riding. Running and walking loops will keep the exercisers in your family busy.
Norris Watershed is also nearby and has a number of hiking / biking / horseback riding trails.
Sequoyah Marina is just around the corner and walkable for those who like to climb hills!
