A beautiful 7-room house originally built as a convenience store in 1910, renovated about 20 years ago and is now home to my self, my fiancee, our 4-year old daughter Stella and a cat.
The garden is big, about 2000 sqm and there is plenty of parking space. We call your room the "tower room" since it is located below the tower on the roof. It is spacious and contains two 140 cm wide beds along with other furniture.
High speed internet (fiber) is accessible through wifi.

The space
Your room is located on the second floor. It was used as a warehouse when the house was still a convenience store but is now tastefully renovated into a very large bedroom with an impressive ceiling height which makes it feel even more spacious. From this room you have the best view of the church. It contains two 140-cm wide beds and a sitting group.

The house went through major renovations 20 years ago, but still has the feel of early 20th century. Details such as tiled stoves, original woodworks and more has been preserved and adds to the feeling of living in an old, yet comfy house. One thing I personally love about the house is that every window in the house resembles rural paintings of the classic Swedish country side with its beautiful nature and rustic houses and farms.

The garden and the large sun deck are the best parts of this home during the summer. The big garden is surrounded by fences which makes it perfect for kids to explore. There is plenty of room for playing soccer or other outdoor activities. During the summer we have a small pool (3,05m wide, 67 cm deep) for children to play in and for adults who wants to cool down. There is also a quite large trampoline which can be enjoyed by both children and grown ups.
On our sun deck we have both lounge and dining furniture and of course, a grill.

Where you’ll be

Växjö SO, Kronobergs län, Sweden

The village is nice and quiet, and absolutely stunning during summer time. One of our closest neighbors is the local church built in the 1800s. It contains a baptismal font from the previous church which was located in the same spot, from the 1100s.

There are plenty of good spots for fishing, hiking and swimming in the surroundings. Årydssjön, the closest lake, is located only 10 minutes walk from the house.
