If you're looking for a Asheville NC retreat then look no further. The Bear Den is a furnished basement in a log cabin. You and guests can enjoy nature in this 800 square ft basement space. This will allow you to relax, unwind and do all the Asheville activities without the traffic and noise of downtown. This rental is off the path but close enough to access roads to downtown Asheville, River Parks, Weaverville and Blue Ridge Parkway attractions all within a 20-30 min drive. Great amenities.

The space
A cozy basement studio in a log cabin located in Leicester. This space is surrounded by woods on a private drive. Get away from the city and spend a night in the country under the stars. With only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, Weaverville, and The Blueridge Parkway. The BEAR DEN is a great place to unwind, relax and have the experience of Asheville activities without the noise, cost and traffic of staying downtown. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea sitting on the porch watching birds and hearing the surroundings sounds of pastured animals like horses, cows. Some wild turkeys and deer make an appearance often. This 800 square footage basement dwelling can sleep 4 adults. One queen bedroom with a sound machine for sleep, and a pull out queen size sofa to accommodate up to 4 guest total. A kitchenette that includes a keurig coffee maker, bottled water, toaster, and toaster oven, blender and mini fridge. There is no oven or stove top, but there will be a outdoor gas grill that you are welcome to use. Also a dual hot plate is available to cook. A private walk way entrance and rocking chair front porch for use. For entertainment, the Bear Den has a 56” TV, free WIFI, an assortment of Playing cards and board games. Bring your books and enjoy the ambiance of a cozy evening by the electric heater fireplace, cozy up to a warm tea or coffee. Come for a 3 day weekend and explore the beautiful Asheville area and WNC mountains. Relax in our NEW Hot Tub while listening to the sounds of nature.

Access to fire pit, gas grill, private front porch, fenced in yard, and take a nap in the canvas hammock. Multiple bird feeders located on property.
