Ocean Temple Oceanfront is located at the Pacific Ocean where you will see and hear the ocean all day and night, and where the peace and serenity are exceptional! A short walk across a magical lava field brings you to a private black sand beach (not for swimming) with miles and miles of state-owned Pacific Oceanfront shoreline, all yours to enjoy! The sunrises and sunsets are exceptional!

The space
Ocean Temple is an open floor plan, with large picture windows looking out to the ocean and gardens.
It is located in a house, and it is the fully contained ground floor suite. Bali Temple is located on the 2nd floor.

Guest access
Guests will be provided with an access keypad combination prior to their arrival.

Please be prepared for the remote location of this quiet sanctuary.

There is no kitchen, so please plan accordingly. Here are some favorite food options are:
There are many restaurants in Pahoa, 9 miles away.
Uncle Robert's is 1/2 mile away, and it has the well-stocked Kaimu Convenience Store.
A coffee, smoothie and sandwich shop is located across the parking area of the Kaimu Convenience Store.
Across the cul-de-sac is the Kaimu Farmer's Market every Saturday morning, 8 to 12, with lots of food.
Many local caterers would delight in preparing a special meal for you. I can put you in touch with them!

Before I created Ocean Temple, this property was a part of a Buddhist's Meditation Retreat. It still carries this peaceful and tranquil ambiance to this day! This is a deeply relaxing setting.

Kaimu is a quiet beach town that is well situated amidst many recreational activities along the Red Road.
Kaimu corner is a 1/2 mile walk away, with a store, gallery, and food options. It is the location of Uncle Robert's Wednesday Night Farmer's Market... not to be missed for great food, live music, shopping and lots of fun.
The private black sand beach is wonderful for sunrises, sunsets, whale watching, meditation, sunbathing and stargazing. Your best swimming beach is a short distance down the road at Kehena Beach.
