Fully furnished 600sf condo with balcony and amazing view of downtown and the mountains. Secure underground parking and easy transit to downtown, etc. (25, 22 and 19 every 10min right outside your door!). In-suite laundry, open kitchen/living room.

The space

The condo is at 4028 Knight Street, at the corner of Knight Street, Kingsway and King Edward (25th).

This is a great place to use as a home-base for a trip to Vancouver. It's incredibly easy to to get around anywhere in Vancouver on the 25, 22, or 19 line (they come every 10mintues at 3 stops within a 100 meters from the building). If you plan on driving, there is an underground secured parking stall. There is a Price Smart grocery store downstairs, as well as a TD Bank, Vancouver library, etc.

The apartment is fully furnished. You're welcome to use towels provided. The kitchen is fully functional, and you're welcome to use any condiments or spices in the cupboard. There's a programmable coffee maker, or french press, whichever you prefer.

There's a TV, Apple TV, Wifi, radio/stereo and record player. Feel free to use the stereo but please be very careful, she's an antique. If you're comfortable using the record player, feel free to spin some records but if not, please don't experiment...I love my records.

There's an balcony with a patio set for having some drinks or just watching the sunset. The view is unreal in the evening, so be prepared for a spectacular sunset.

I have a lot of musical instruments, if you like to play, feel free to grab one of the acoustics and pluck away. But please, please, please be careful and respectful of them. If you don't play, you can look but please don't touch. They are not toys.

Guest access

Check in and check out times are flexible. The building is accessed by FOB, which you also need to use the elevator. The parking lot is also accessed by FOB. The place is like Fort Knox. Don't forget your FOB or you will be locked out and you will have a bad time.

Interaction with guests

I will meet you to check in and answer any questions you have. I may be around Vancouver while you're staying, or I may be out of town. If so, I'll have someone close by in case of emergency.

Other things to note

I'm flexible and open to offers.

Upon our arrival Yvan was out of town, but he did everything he could to make our accommodation smooth and convenient. His friend Daniel took a very good care of everything, so we had no issues with the arriving/leaving. The place is nice and clean, very modern, and has everything one might need while staying. Very impressive powerful shower. The location is safe with close enough bus stations - to get everywhere you need (e.g., 20-25 min by bus to downtown). The neighborhood itself did not impress us, but we knew where we are going, so no complaints about it. The only thing - the Knight street is really noisy, mostly because of nonstop truck traffic, so it could be an issue to not only "light sleepers", but also for "day stayers". Because of hot weather during our stay we had to keep the windows open and it made the noise very noticeable. But closed windows would reduce the noise significantly. Otherwise, the condo is very nice and we managed to enjoy our breakfasts on the balcony. Thanks, Yvan and Daniel!

Yvan and I are gents on the move. My time in Vancouver was enabled by us threading the needle with schedules. Yvan's place was exactly as advertised and he was great, helping me with everything I needed. I definitely recommend taking advantage of this super stylish, clean and fully featured place. If you're lucky, you'll get a chance to meet and hang out with Yvan!

Yvan's place is in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. There was a bit of traffic noise which was fine for us but might be a bit of a bother if you're a very light sleeper or if it's the middle of the summer and hot and you have to have all the windows open. Maggie

Yvan was the perfect host. On time, true to his word and the apartment was the perfect cozy spot for me. Safe building, clean, well-kept space. Everything I was looking for.

Yvan was friendly from the start, was quick to communicate in advance, and met me with the keys, explaining everything needed for my stay along the way. His place is well-equipped and situated for easy access to other parts of the city.

Although Yvan was not around when we got there, he made sure that we got the keys as soon as we have arrived in Vancouver. Yvan's condo was very clean and a great place to stay in. Thank you, for your having us.

This little condo is very clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. I had a very pleasant and uneventful stay here with absolutely no problems. It is a bit out of the way and I had to commute 30 min to reach downtown every day. But the buses run frequently. Yvan was very helpful with information on buses, and even had bus tickets ready for me so that I would not need to buy them before my seminar the next day. He is a thoughtful host. There are a couple of restaurants across the street if you feel like a late night snack and a grocery store on the same block. The only downside of the apartment is that you can hear the buses go by. So if you are used to pindrop silence you might want to bring earplugs. I am a light sleeper but with ear plugs I slept like a log.
