As many other cape verdean families we are a family which some lives in Cape Verde - mom (Eloisa) and dad (Rui), and son (Arildo) live abroad in Brussels, Belgium. Eloisa is a french teacher in Boa Vista high School. Rui is a local entrepreneur acting in the tourism business since 90s in Boa Vista. He has a rent-a-car company named Melitour. They never wanted to leave Boa Vista, so they know the history and the changes Boa Vista went trough along the years. Most of the people in the island know them, so it will be easy to find them. I live abroad for more than 15 years and the last 5 years in Brussels, Belgium. Every year I like to come back to get some sun (difficult to get here) and visit the family. But also I like to travel to new places and to know new people around the world. Turtles hostel is our "brand" we use to identify our apartments and room in the island.

Eloisa and Rui lives 100m from the apartment and you can always reach out to them in case of any help. You can ask for Melitour (the family business) and almost everybody in the city will take you there.
