Once the stables next to Patching Forge and previously owned by the Duke of Norfolk, the self-contained thatched cottage 'Morella' is quoted under British Listed Buildings as a 17th Century or earlier timber-framed cottage with red brick infilling. It is the perfect place to rest and recharge- a peaceful piece of history in the heart of the South Downs National Park- with walking trails on the doorstep and breathtaking views towards the coast.

What a fantastic place. It’s not everyday you get to stay in a house with such history. And combined with style too. Easy arrangements, great communication and a super house. Highly recommended
