Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.

This quiet country home has been recently renovated. It is very private with everything you will need for your stay. A fire pit on a grassy knoll overlooks the Washademoak Lake and beautiful sunsets. It has a large yard and lots of shrubbery and fruit trees. Two front porches are perfect spaces for a leisurely cup of coffee or space to read a good book. It is centrally located to the 3 cities in New Brunswick, within 1.5 hours or less from Saint John, Fredericton and Moncton.

The space
The surrounding Washademoak Lake area is beautiful with amazing sunsets. There are lots of outdoor seating areas and beautiful heritage flowers and shrubs. The McDonalds Point Wharf, about 5 km from the house is a great place to swim in the summer.

Guest access
Access is provided to a swimming hole and ufish lake located close by. The lake is great for swimming.

Other things to note
The stairs to the second floor bedrooms and full bath turn half way up so are narrow as they go around the turn. A photo shows this better and is located under the tab for "bedroom 1". Please consider this for suitability for your group before booking.

The floors and some of the interior doors are original to the house. There are floor boards which may creek and move a little. We think this is part of the character of a house built in the 1800s and are hesitant to change them. The pictures clearly show these features!
