Welcome! Come and retreat to our cozy space in the heart of Glastonbury. Built within the grounds of a former Buddhist chapel and only a stone's throw from the quirky high street, Namastay is tucked away in a tranquil, private courtyard.
The apartment location is perfect for exploring all that Glastonbury has to offer being only two minutes walk from the Abbey, pubs, restaurants, shops, takeaways, public transport and visitors information centre.

The space
Newly refurbished two bedroom apartment set in a quiet courtyard just off Glastonbury High Street. The apartment is decorated to a high standard in a peaceful location but only a thirty second walk from all the delights that Glastonbury has to offer. The main bedroom has a king size bed; the second bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king size on request. 80MBPS broadband with Wifi, TV (with HDMI cable and USB ports) DVD player with over 100 films to choose from, books and games plus a Wii console in the lounge. Fully centrally heated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, fan oven, gas hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, utensils, basic condiments etc Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. I also provide a welcome pack of bread, butter, milk and a bottle of wine- please message me upon booking if these are not required or you're vegan for example.
There is a bath and shower with towels provided, plus shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath.
There is an iron and table top ironing board should you wish to use them, plus a hairdryer, in the master bedroom.
Namastay is not a serviced apartment, but for stays of a week or longer, we'll be happy to provide a change of bed linen and towels if required.

Guest access
You'll have the apartment to yourself, the courtyard is shared.

Other things to note
There are half a dozen steps leading up to the front door, which guests with reduced mobility may struggle with.
There is no allocated parking with the apartment, but there is lots of unrestricted street parking, and two long stay, low cost car parks very close by. Please do not park in the courtyard next door- these are private allocated parking spaces for the old chapel.

Glastonbury is a unique and vibrant town with particular historical attraction. The list of things to see and do is endless and the area is a popular destination for global travellers. There is of course the iconic Tor and the legendary 7th century Abbey, the inspiring White Spring, the ancient and holy Chalice Well, as well as many historical buildings such as the tribunal building and St Margaret's Chapel. The town itself is entertaining enough, with lots of interesting and quirky shops and a generous selection of amazing places to dine out. A good starting point is to visit the Glastonbury Information Centre (Magdalene St, next to the Abbey entrance) and check out 'The Oracle' for events, conferences, talks and therapies all on offer year round.
30 mins walk or a 5 minute drive away is the village of Street, home of the Clarks shoe factory and museum, plus the excellent Clarks Village Shopping centre. Between Easter and the end of August, Greenbank heated outdoor swimming pool open to the public and well worth a visit.
6 miles in the opposite direction is the medieval Cathedral city of Wells, boasting a variety of shops, 13th Century Cathedral and cosmopolitan cafe culture.
