Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This Fingal Beach House is ideally located close to the Beautiful Fingal Surf Beach and close to the fantastic fishing along the Tweed River.
Fingal Head is one of the little known corners of the Tweed Coast holiday scene, quiet unspoiled beaches and the sparkling Tweed River are right on the doorstep.
Fingal township is at the end of a long sand spit with the Tweed River on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.

The space
Whether you are coming for a family holiday, a surfing getaway or a comfortable fishing trip or all three, this house is the perfect base. Bring your furry friend as the
property has a great fenced yard to keep them safe and there is a rear gate to go out for a morning walk to the beach. It is an older style house but our feedback is always that it is comfortable and has everything required for a nice holiday.

Where you’ll be

Fingal Head, New South Wales, Australia

Fingal Head has an amazing bushland reserve and walking track that climbs to the top of the headland next to the old Fingal Lighthouse. The view from the top
includes the unique rock formations of "Giant's Causeway"and view of the Marine Reserve and turtle breeding ground Cook Island offshore. Humpback and
Southern Right Whales can be seen in abundance from June to September traveling up and down the coast and dolphins are regular visitors near the river mouth or
off the headland.
The boat ramp on the river side has low tide access to the river and plenty of parking for boats. It is only a short trip out past the Tweed river bar to access deepwater
fishing for bottom dwellers or pelagic fish.
Surfers have the choice of miles of uncrowded beach breaks along the Tweed Coast, the south facing coast and deeper water providing more consistant swell than
the Gold Coast and the semi-secret nature of Fingal makes getting a wave easier than the overcrowded surf breaks of Duranbah and Snapper Rocks.
