The space
Come in and relax in this beautiful log home! Beamed ceilings, wood floors, leather couches.. Kick off your shoes and relax!!
We're close to everything, but on a private, wooded lot with public road frontage.
We have a total of 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located upstairs--one with a king log canopy bed, the other with a queen. The downstairs bedroom is a queen. All mattresses are memory foam.

There are 2 Full Bathrooms: One with tub shower ; one with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Both are accessible without going through a bedroom.

The huge kitchen is the heart of the home with a great-room. Banks of windows let the light stream in. The kitchen is equipped with double wall ovens, ceramic cooktop, double door refrigerator with ice and water, and tons of granite counter space. Eat at the huge central island, or the kitchen table, or in the large dining room, or, on the screen porch.

Relax in front of the gas fireplace in the overstuffed leather reclining sofas as you watch the 52” flat screen TV w/ cable and Blue Ray DVD. Bring your computers and mobile devices. We have Wi/Fi throughout the house. Summers are generally cool, but we have air-conditioning when needed.

We have lots of off street parking and a carport with room for cars, boats, etc.
The wooded lot is private with an outdoor fire pit for family evenings and a swing set for the little ones. There is a seasonal babbling brook in backyard. (It's rushing waterfalls in the early spring).

Special note for SUMMER rentals May-Sept….

Margie and I have our personal apartment in the basement with a separate entrance. in rear of our home. We park our car in the driveway behind the house. Your enjoyment of the property is always our priority.

If you've been to Lake George, then you probably know what a year round playground it is. If you haven't, here are some fun things to do:
Easy walk to Million Dollar Beach (sand beach, lifeguards)
Easy walk to Lake George Village, restaurants and amusements.
Short walk to local Trolley line.
Walk to local beach park, playground, and tennis courts.
Walk to Lake George excursion boat docks.
Public boat launch is available and just two minutes away. Kayak and bike rentals in town.
5 minutes to marina facilities at Hall’s Boats
10 minutes to marina facilities at Dunham’s Bay
We have easy access to I-87 without going thru village and summer traffic.
Minutes to bike trail.
75 minutes to The Lake Placid Region
10 minutes to Great Escape amusement Park
5 minutes to Magic Forest (kiddie) Amusement Park
20 minutes to Glens Falls Cross Country Ski Trails
5 minutes to Prospect Mountain Hiking Trails
5 minutes to “Million Dollar Mile” Outlet shopping.
5 minutes to RT 87 (yet private and quiet)
25 minutes to Saratoga and race track.
25 minutes to Adirondack Adventure Zip Lines
During Americade, walk to Vendors and Demo bike areas.

Margie and I are 30 year residents of Lake George. In 2001, we designed and built this great house with our own four hands. Marc is a retired general contractor. Margie runs the seasonal family business of motorcycle safety training at the local SUNY college. We are avid motorcyclists, RV'ers and travelers. With all the places available to us, Lake George is our favorite place. So much to do-- such great people. It's a true four season vacation area. Come enjoy our area. We moved to the Adirondacks for the lake, the fishing, the water-skiing, the snow skiing, the not too hot summer weather and the small town way of living. Lake George has it all, and then some. When you arrive you will find a clean home, ready for your enjoyment. We are always available by phone, text, or email, plus we have people to take care of any house emergencies should they arise. If there are any questions about our home or our area, please call us before you book. We want you to be happy with your choice and to have an enjoyable stay.

We will water flower boxes and gardens occasionally (respecting your privacy) . We have a welcome packet with emergency numbers, etc. We are available by phone at any time.
