Romantic secluded place with a Wonderful outdoor shower. They arranged for hernando to pick us up at the airport from there the rest was history! He showed us around all his favourite places, including restaurants, and drove us to nearby salento for amazing hikes! We also did a great coffee tour. Recommend for a couple travelling ! Hermando is the man. Yudy and Victoria also great hosts. Breakfasts every morning was delisioso

Amazing cabana, plan to spend some time here to enjoy the nature, peace and quiet. Be sure to confirm pricing of any other services in advance to avoid surprise hefty bills at the end. Location is not close to public transit however and the driver recommended is very expensive.

Response from Yudy & Victoria:
Hi Lorna, Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry that you got a bigger bill at the end than you were expecting- that is not the kind of surprise we want our guests to experience. I am always grateful to know how we can improve our offerings. I see that we exchanged several emails before your arrival, and in one which I send to all of our guests, under "transportation" I mentioned that there is a $20 cost for transport to or from the airport or bus station, which is actually less than most taxis will charge. I also mentioned that Hernando charges 180 mil pesos for an all day excursion to/from Salento/Cocora Valley..., but perhaps you were confused with the coffee tour, which was 160 mil per person? In any case, it is clear that I need to reiterate prices and check with Yudy per any changes. I will try to put together a price sheet for future guests as a result of your feedback, which again, I thank you so much for taking the time to give. Warm regards, Victoria

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. We communicated with Victoria to plan our stay and she was very helpful and responsive. The casita was exactly as advertised and allowed us to soak up the beautiful, lush surroundings. It was very comfortable and private. The property is really beautiful and includes a bamboo forest. At night fireflies lit up the sky. Yudi was very hospitable and accommodating and arranged several day trips for us including a Cocora valley trek and a coffee tour. I hope to come back again one day.

Yudy and Victoria have created more than just a home stay in an Airbnb - staying with them is an experience to remember. The cabaña was everything we hoped it would be and more. Beautiful, tasteful, comfortable and with an immersion in nature that we absolutely loved. Showering at sunset in the outdoors was by far the most unique and amazing showering experience we’ve had. Furthermore, Yudy and Victoria were the most warm and welcoming hosts. They helped ensure we had a fantastic time by helping us plan our activities (we visited a neighboring beekeeper’s farm and the Quindío botanical gardens) and the home cooked food for dinner was delicious. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Yudy and I (Victoria) are sisters-in law. Yudy lives in Colombia and would be your hostess on the property. I live in California and am the owner of the property. It is my goal to create a "boutique eco-resort" on the approximately 5 acre farm we have in the coffee growing region in the Andean mountains. We have tried to create a retreat that will soothe your soul and rejuvenate your spirit. Yudy speaks fluent Spanish and some English, punctuated with laughter and hand gestures. She is warm, friendly, capable and a very good cook! Yudy will help you arrange transportation, reservations, tours, and anything you may need.
